Choosing to comment because of the remarks of others. I am one of those Terry West fans―I've been using his plugins for more than a decade. His old CS12 is my go-to "last step" for in-house masters. I find that Terry's old plugins (including CS12) can be weird and buggy, and this EasyNY is no exception. Commentors who say "it does nothing" are very nearly right―the OOBE is subtle to a fault. But that doesn't mean this plugin is useless. This EasyNY likes to be driven *hard*. I throw a clean gain in front & give it a gigantic inbound boost―signal levels around +8dB over unity seem ideal―then pull it back down with the included volume knob. It doesn't clip. The sound is anywhere from sweet & subtle to nicely ass-kicking. 4/5 for jank.

It just looks nice. That's all,... You gotta click the bypass button first I guess,... I tried this on on a low bass and it started making farting sounds.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to be doing but it sounds like it's doing almost nothing. I guess the intention is to add a certain flavour to the sound rather than to actually compress the signal. Whatever it's doing it's certainly subtle. I won't be using it.

Nice. It brings vocals and guitars to new life! Thank you Terry!
I don't know why so many people praise this, because it does next to nothing, other than raise the level through the volume control. I find much of Terry West plugins like this, overrated and very Emperor's New Clothes.
