Formant filter is an effect that uses a bank of 5 band pass filters.
This imprint the formant peaks from one sound onto another. It includes vowel presets but you can input your own values using the custom formant mode.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm working in sound desing for a short-film and I'm making wind from scratch. The "U" preset is perfect to make some filtered white noise sound like real distressed wind. Thanks!

Very cool!!!
It's interesting, just a little confused how to make it useful... ie if sel preset a kinda extenuates the sound... so maybe if vowel sound was not right, cut up track, pass through this...?
