This VSTi plugin is a 4 operator FM/PM synthesizer that is simple, easy to understand.
It is capable of synthesizing an array of multiple timbres. You dont have to be an FM expert to get sound right anymore! The synthesizer was done with SynthMaker, but uses our own coded oscillators, envelopes and midi control for that special FM sound.

This plugin is a great introduction to the world of FM synthesis. FM is my favorite kind of synthesis and you can do a lot with this. Check out oxe, dexed, zynaddsubfx, and rhino or sytrus. The first 3 are free, and zynaddsubfx is a powerhouse! With basically 3 synths in one and 8 oscillator additive PM and FM, and individual modulators for carrier oscillators... Yeah, it's free somehow... Very underrated, beats so many paid plugins by a landslide.

Surprisingly capable FM! Does anyone know what the various abbreviated knobs are? Also when I turn the FM/PM knobs, it doesn't seem to do anything. Either way, this vst goes from lush deep pad to crazy burning sounds in a minimum of changes. Very versatile guy, was very impressed, especially considering its age. Only reason it isn't 5 is because I can't seem to find any documentation on it.

Best free 'warm pad' VST I've tested so far! If you compose music for 'relaxation' or Pop Ballads this is exactly what u need to give your music more feel.

This synth makes FM quite easy, and one can do a LOT with *only* 4 operators. Does anyone know what the "Note sens." does?

I guess I found out about Note sens. : Positive values make the sound quieter in higher keys and louder in lower keys, and vice versa: negative values make the sound louder in higher octaves and quieter in lower octaves.

What a gem... I finally found the vsti I'd been longing for. Thank you.
those pads tho

Just amazing. Especially the "Warm Strings" preset. Of course, I typically design my own sounds rather than simply flick through presets. But presets do act as a form of "advertising", demonstrating objectively what a synth is capable of. This gem is capable of some of the most "buttery" caramel delicious pads and basses I've heard. And you can use it as a general purpose "Workhorse Synth", as Well! (It's NOT just a one-trick pony, this stalion can create leads, basses, percussion, SFX, you name it... those pads, tho!)

One of the best FM vsts out there. The GUI actually makes sense and is quite understandable.

This is a really nice low end synth. I wouldn't recommend it for bass or as a main synth, but it is great for ambient melodies on the low octaves

I've used many FM synths before and this one is really good. I can't believe it's free!

i love it too! i made some harsh old-school ebm-sounds with it, and they sound very good. this plugin uses much cpu, but it's easy to use because of it logical arranged GUI. i learned using fm-synthesis with this synth, and i experimented a lot with it, and it made fun!
