The U-NO-62 vst plugin is a polyphonic virtual analogue synth with a unique filter sound.
An original JUNO 62 is used as reference for the oscillators and filters. Like the original, the plugin is capable of self-resonance and thus could be used to some degree as a tone generator. The filter section also features controls for envelope amount and polarity, LFO modulation and keyboard tracking. In addition, a non-resonant highpass filter is provided to thin out lower frequencies.
The U-NO-62 can make a wide range of different and exciting sounds.

Where do I see it if I import the AU component into garageband?

Bien fait, aucun problème

Sounds like my old hardware 106

Average to crappy sounding presets. This VSTi does'nt sound bad if tweeked, far from it, but the filters are not close to a Juno 60 (even less, in my opinion than SixMonthJune an alternative that has good presets but is x32 only). This VSTi uses the CPU in a strange manner, depending on the sound, is has some high spikes of CPU usage that sometimes leads to sound artefacts. In my opinion, this is one of the worst VST of the excellent company that is TAL.
I have to agree. I found myself preferring TAL-Elek7ro instead. IMO, U-NO-62 is not better than Elek7ro at achieving a suitable 'analog synth' sound. And it's not truly convincing as a Juno-60 to warrant its severely limited feature set. TAL's U-NO-LX is a significant and necessary upgrade from U-NO-62. Also, the polyphony in U-NO-62 seems buggy and needlessly cuts out my notes.
Sounds really nice but none of the effects within the plugin are working so I just have the default sound. Is there a known way to fix or have I just done something incorrectly?
Hey, doesn't work for Mac Os. I tried both, mac osx vst and mac us. Please help me
Heads up for mac users : this mac version is 32 bit. So if your mac is 64 bit, the osx version of this won't work. The updated version (which you have to purchase) should work though.
You just saved me a lot time.

Sorry, does not work on Mac. Tried four times, for good measure

Good free emulation with that typical Roland filter sound.
Wspaniała emulacja Roland Juno 60
Hi, please, why the noise continues to work even when I don't play my patterns? Because it's free?!
(5 / 5)
as a (regrettably former) juno 60 hardware keyboard player i can sincerely say i have at least made up for my loss perhaps 80% with this very playable and accurately designed emulator!! now i can go back to recording my lofi noise. one thing though - where is the almighty pitch roller ?

The best emulator vst juno

Very good replica of the original(s); sometimes the sounds roams between the two famous 60 & 106...but it still sounds like a Roland! For more fun i purchased the full-version TAL-U-NO-LX; i don't regret this decision! ;-))

sounds great. must have. thanks

I LOVE this plugin. Simple, straight forward layout and it sounds just amazing! Midi learn is also always a big plus. It's awesome that it's freeware. I've downloaded many, many synth plugs since I added this one, both free and commercial, and every time I come back to use this it makes me grin big. %]

Hi, my "32 lives" not showing any vst in the list. I put the vst file into /library/audio/plug-ins/VST/ Can you help me?
You need the AU, not the VST
If Logic don't recognize it, that's because it's a 32bit plugin and Logic is 64bit. You need to get 32 Lives and it will solve the issue.
But... It is offered as a 64 bit plugin.
I know, it's a harsh world ^^ buy a Pc and use Reaper ;)
How can I install it (on Mac) without the .pkg file?
You need to use 32 Lives
Google an app called "unpkg". It will unpack the .pkg file in folders. From there you can install only what you want. Beware is 32 bit only
Good emulation of the original, Thanks.

It's very good. Beautiful sounds.

Great VST! I love the 80's tone it gets me.
Good VST especially since it's free. I made a lot of songs with it. My favorite part is the LFO as I'm a big fan of detuned synths.
It won't show up in logic either any solutions ? Thanks :)
It's A VST people. FL STUDIO is like... dodododo found it... if you put it in the right folder. Learn your system people!!!!! Read your manuals!!!!
It won't show up in logic any solutions?

Doesnt show up in protools or reason.
Pro tools you need an RTAS wrapper to be able to use third party plugins, and with reason, it doesn't support third party plugins at all unless it's a specially written rack extension by the plugin's developer (reason 6.5 onwards)

Just downloaded and used in reaper. A+. I thought I would never hear that sweet Juno again.

Coming more sys / patches soon, working on the old junos synths and old tape factory banks. Visit us at: http://soundlab.se/ Great job boys
Hi everyone... i've some issues for install in osx .... how can i install it ? Thanks in advance
Great sound but I have a feeling the envelope time and levels are somewhat off compared to the original. No?

doesnt show up in ableton ):
thanks..... it's very good!
You have to get the 64bit version and redirect Ableton to the folder with it in.
Great synth. Good emulation. Thanks.

that' a real bomb 4 electronical music! I enjoyed it !

I echo that it sounds more like a 106 than a 60. Eats CPU and gets a little glitchy on me sometimes. I looks exactly like the 60 I used to have.

A really good emulator of the Roland Juno 60 :)

This one is good. I own the juno's 6, 106, and alpha 1, and this is a very nice vsti. I find it closer to the 106 than the 6; but it's an excellent simulation of the real thing.

Very nice synth sounds can be coaxed out of this VST. Top marks, worth downloading free. TAL makes the best free VSTs!!!

I was a Juno 106 user and this one sounds more like it than any other free vsti. I tried to recreat one of my own favorite synth bass and it got pretty close to the sound in my recordings... I really liked the chorus effect, it just feels right like the real juno. Overall is a good emulation but there is only one juno...

Very close to the original.

I owned the real deal many years ago! great toy but sadly no apegiator! but still good

Great synth, great sounds but you must try hard to get it

The best Uno around. Not much fun of it, I allways prefered the Jupiter8 but this ok. 4 stars for it's 64bit version !
