Cool dirt plugin. CPU usage is high but not bad. Remember, the output control isn't just an output control, it will also add saturation. You will need to use your DAW settings if you want this thing to have clean gain on the output.

I couldn't get this one to work on logic pro. It keeps crashing it as soon as I open it. Dammit I was looking forward to this one.

I love the sound and the gui! Unfortunately it keeps crashing my DAW just like the TB-Pro-Audio Tilt-Filter. Also its more cpu-hungry than similar saturation-plugins.

All your great plugins works fine also under Linux via wine..... Have you considered a porting to Linux/Ubuntu world like u-he or cockos?

Yes, the GUI is really great, but there are free alternatives maybe with a more detailed and more natural sound. For example: "Voxengo-Tubeamp-VST" or the fabulous "Bonch-Bruevich-Tube-VST" here on plugins4free (32bit).

I have owned CS5501 for about one and half years now and it's my go to channel strip that is used on pretty much every track in my projects. Seeing this module as a standalone plug-in is very nice as I love the saturation module in CS5501. Very versatile saturation with great control over the sound.

Excellent saturation plugin, which allows individual control over and edition of almost all important parameters. Works fine, sounds good and naturally.
