phi-L Tube Preamp is a tube preamp circuit emulation.
It gives you full control over all aspects of the modelled circuit. All values of all the capacitors, resistors etc. can be tuned by the user.

Sounds great, adds a little glass to your sound. Real nice on acoustic guitar. It will tend to clip pretty soon, so if you want more clean headroom it helps to raise the B+ voltage to more like 300v.

This tool sounds so good, ... I am done. To "Tune" it up is a cosmos, I cant believe that tool is for free. Many thanks for this one

Not bad, but why does the circuit only use an ECC82 and not the much more common, much more flexible sounding ECC83 or allow tube selection?

12AU7 is mostly used in Hifi preamps so I guess he intended for that and not for guitar amps.
