Alieno is a hybrid synthesizer.
Its SCI-FI styled, object-oriented environment allows the user to mix-up different synthesizing techniques and develop powerful and articulated voices. With everything considered, its really good. The sounds it produces sound analog but thick. If youre patient you can make some nice basses.

I've had this for years. It's a stable 32 bit monster synth with leads and soundscapes you'd normally pay a lot of money for. Outstanding VST!!!

Update: Be careful. It sometimes works well but at the moment it has a bug where it renders project files unusable (FLS20 64bit). At opening the file FLS reports some problem with the project and won't play any instrument no more. It also can only be closed with the taskmanager.

First i thought wow its ugly, but it has really cool patches for a free synth. Works well with FLS20. Installation of dll and banks is easy and transparent. Like!

I'll never forget the first time when I tested this plugin about 14 years ago. Truly amazing if your ears are paying attention. Great for making leads and pads. Is there any additional skins for this thing? I couldn't find any. Alieno is superb.

Love this synth but some patches trigger a 'there is no disk in the drive' message which freezes everything up. Using FL Studio 12 on Windows 7 64 bit.

This is one of my fav synths, however, lately, it wont load in FL and it will fully crash FL too. Nothing, it just will close it for some reason. It wont say why either.
yeah it stopped working for me as well, so I downloaded it again and over wrote the old version, now it seems fine. I don't know if it's got some strange timing device in it because when you fire it up it says something like "you have four years to save the galaxy". Does it time out?

Got a great synth stab out of this for oldskool-style hardcore and jungle. I use it in lots of tracks and live sets. Only really use it for that one sound, but absolutely love it.

Love the sounds, but sometimes when I'll open it it does not work and the fl studio disappear from screen. Then I have to reopen the fl and the synthesizer should work this time.

Sounds killer. Although the playful look suggests a toy instrument, it makes solid and powerful leads. One of the few freeware subtractive VSTi that sounds really dense.
This plug is so much fun! From the gui to the presets, to the sounds it can make... AND the presets are very fun and usable. This developer surtenly deserves a donation!
