Pink - free Noise generator plugin
Pink generates pink noise for use as a mix reference.

Variable master output level, and soft on/off switch, so the pink noise doesn’t hurt your ears. Removes doubt from the mixing process and helps you get a decent result quickly.
  • Put Pink on your master channel.
  • Set the noise level to a good reference point.
  • Use the master level so that the pink noise is at a comfortable listening volume.
  • Solo each channel in turn and adjust the level so you can only just hear it over the pink noise.

Cool plugin but why is it asking for personal info? what is the purpose behind it

Most plugin makers make a few cool freebies so you may consider their paid plugins, or just people to keep them in mind as a plugin brand. It's free advertising and people get free plugins, win-win.

Mnoisegenerator is also worth checking out, it's included in the MFreeFXBundle from Melda Production. It has automatic gain compensation, mid side options and a built in limiter to boot. What's not to like?

After installing it asks for registration, so I removed it. There's a similar signal generator included in the Dead Duck freeware bundle, that comes in the form of .dll. http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=DD_SigGen&id=2801
