Odin is a 12 voice polyphonic, wavetable-based, subtractive, semi-modular synthesizer.
The oscillators include a wide variety of waveforms and are designed to prevent aliasing. The filters are virtual analog Moog-ladder emulations with Oberheim variations.

Odin is funny. There were no presets, so I thought it was boring at first, but as I was playing with the parameters, I realized that it was deep. This Odin can be fully enjoyed even with 1.

A bit complicated and confusing for me. Design isn't super easy to understand but looks clearer than some FM synths out there. Doesn't seem to work with my sustain pedal and doesn't have preloaded presets. GUI is ugly and gives me a headache. Tones seem ok.
Il ne fonctionne pas très bien sous Reaper. Est ce possible d'arranger ?

Sounds great!

This is 5/5 for me. Any chance we see midi learn functionality? (incl. for routing -graphic- buttons)
Do you planing to make presets ? May be there is place to dowload them ?

A synth with a great sound and good architecture.

Excellent sounding synth! Bravo! 5/5

This sounds amazing! I am impressed!

I got clipping in the signal from the synth I use wavetable glass as osc1 and fm on osc2, I can't figure it out but I'm sure it come from the synth. I love the sound
I noticed the lfo's don't automatically initiate when they're assigned to the oscillator volume modules, they only initiate when you edit them or the mod matrix during playback but not when leaving them untouched while playing notes, so far this only happens to the volume modulations, the other modulations work fine. Otherwise great synth, very analog sounding, creamy and thick.
Added to buglist! Thanks!

Very nice synth well suitable for thick analog basslines and leads, I think it's among the best free ones out there, it's almost impossible to make this one sound bad even with its extremely wide sound palette. The filters are always smooth and crunchy and never harsh at any setting.

Good wavetable synth allowing a large palette of sounds. Internal routing and tweakability giving hours of fun (rare with free synths). Little drawback : only 5 mod slots of which 2 needed for VCF keyboard tracking (absent from filter panels).

Love it! :O)

Quite a versatile synth and it sounds great! It should be released for Mac OS too.

I was searchin after a synth that meets the supremacy and behaviour of Synth1. Odin has a little advantage for deepest/lowest basses. It's really impressive when the last key on your keyboard don't give you back nonsense but rather what you was calling for: The sound you created played on the lowest key, precise and clean as the highest key. Here is the next plus: Odin acts like what I lick Synth1 for: You can't overexpect Odin while tweaking. Most synths tend to break the rules when you tweak a sound to the limit. The only lil problem I have is performance problems when I hold 6 keys and change the chord, my pc starts to stumble. Maybe it's a bit CPU hungry, but it's possible to arrange around it. ;)
Hi Cajhmere, when playing 6 notes with some release and 3 multi-oscs, you get to the point where you have 144 oscillators running in parallel. That might be a bit too much for some systems, given the aliasing-free implementation of the oscillators. I recommend bouncing to audio in that situation. Using any other type of oscillator should be fine however.
Best, Frederik

Sweetest FM Synth Ever<3

Strange. I'm having trouble loading up the 64bit version in MuLab. 32bit via JBridge is working.

This as a seriously neat and versatile synth. Results are almost instantaneous and a decent patch can be transferred from mind to synth in a few minutes. One of the best synths around that covers a large spectrum of sound creation but with ease. Absolute must have in ANY VST synth library.

Monster-synth alert! Endless possibilities for sound design, intuitive UI, looks nice. Well done!

Seriously, one of the best free vst's I've ever tried; enjoying it now as I write this. As said above, a little beast.
I'm not a sound designer so it's hard to rate this synth. Even a handful of presets(even just for starting points) would help.
That's where I'm at also. Presets would be very welcome. Does anyone have any?

This is actually awesome, tonnes of features etc. good job
I agree with you, maybe every sound you could imagine can be created with this little monster, but unfortunately there is a big Bug in the ADSR-Section, the synth doesn't stop the note and keep playin a noisy humm. I hope this Synth get updated soon, because it's a Beast !
Hi, could you please send bug-report, maybe with the buggy patch included to frederiksiepe@web.de ? Thanks a lot! Fred
Hy Frederik, it's a Problem with the whole Synth, its not depented on a patch. Please fix it =).
Hi, I and some others have tested the synth thoroughly, and I haven't heard about this problem before. I'd love to fix the problem, however I need to know more about it. So please if anybody experiences this problem get in touch with me via email (frederiksiepe@web.de) and provide information regarding OS and DAW. Thanks, Fred
