Cold and rusty. Has a distinct sound of its own but not one I care for and not a very analog sounding one either. Nicely laid out, pretty simple and intuitive. Great for eerie, spacey, spooky, cruddy, atmospheric, lo-fi type sounds. Great texture but I prefer more "lovely" tones.

Please, don't get me wrong but, maybe you can make your sounds by tweaking those knobs and faders. And we suppose not spect "cozi" sounds from a "Lokomotive", right?

What can I say? I love it. Very easy to master but that does not mean it is a bad vst! many sound possibilities and a satisfying feel.

Absolutely fabulous! Gorgeous, massive, brilliant, realistic, what a pleasure to play it! Works on Magix Samplitude Studio 16 on 7 64 bits. I will try it the version 64 bits on Ableton Live Lite 9 7 5 with my Arturia Keylab Essential 61. I love it. Thank you very much indeed!

I remember testing out a free demo of j-path5 or whatever it was called back then by the same developer, it was probably the most unstable crashy plugin I've ever had installed, but the sound it produced (when it was working) was way better than anything I've used in my life. This synth has a similar sound, is also free and is actually less buggy than j-path was. Like others have mentioned, the sound is very organic, especially for a software synth, it's not very tweakable (j-path had more options from what I remember), but that's not really an issue considering it's freeware.

It's stable, takes bit more CPU than I would like but sounds better than some overhyped commercial synth plugins, has very organic sound. Big THANKS to Developers!!!

"more CPU than I would like" is exactly what I was gonna write! It's better on CPU than u-he Hive though, so its not gonna unexpectedly kill your project.

Used to be great until it started changing the length of notes for no reason. I haven't found a fix for this at all and it makes it unusable for stabs and leads

Looks and sounds great, but is a killer on the CPU front, hitting 30 - 40% on some patches.

To be fair, not even a month after this comment, Lokomotiv was updated (its last update actually) specifically to lower CPU usage, and it seems pretty acceptable now.
