eXylo is a sampled xylophone.
It contains 88 stereo samples from the University of Iowa Electronic Music Studios public domain library. Samples are organized in two layers for more expressivity.

It was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately there is a crackling going on for me (Reaper 7.09) Tested buffer sizes from 512 to 32 Samples without difference. In the end the Marimba did it for me since there was no issue. Thank you!

Unfortunately doesn't work in Reaper... :(
Can we use this in fl studio 20 ?
Doesn't work for me.
Is it free for commercial use?
Totally free for any use
How to map with my roland kit???
I love the other Alan Vista free plugins but this one I can't get to show up with my other VSTs in my DAW, despite storing the unzipped download right beside the others. I'm on Windows 10, tried the 64 and the 32, and I use Reaper.
In the Reaper, it will be seen by the name "MySound". Look for it in other DAWs like "MySound".

Can't get it to run in Ableton osx. Tried everything.
Same Here :(
I'm using logic and I've copied it into my vst folder but it still aint showed up even tho I've restarted logic. Am I looking in the wrong place or what? what have I done wrong ?
Logic doesn't use VST it uses AU.. Download the mac AU link and copy and paste the .component file into your library/audio/component file, it will be a folder named component. It should work then. Use the mac VST file in ableton and cubase I think.

Nice one, keep it up and continue to give us good work
It is very good! I would like a bit richer GUI with more features but the great sound is defiantly worth the extra work.

Thank you a load! We have been searching for something like this such a long way. Love and Music, lad.
Thank you for this service to the music community.
How to install it on FL Studio for MAc? It doesn't open
Saying it has "no istruments" help please
Copy the whole extracted zip in your vst plugin folder, not just the dll file.
I already made that and it keeps saying "cannot find any instruments"
Make sure you use the same name for .dll file and .instruments file

Nice one. For some reason it is named "My Sound" instead of eXylo in FL.

Worked fine for a while, then it started making weird static-y noises, and then crashed my program. (Using VeSTige on LMMS) Ever since, I can't open the project I was working on at the time, because the instrument won't load. It sounds nice, but it's not stable.
I have Logic Pro X, and I'm encountering some problems opening it as well...
Is this plugin only for Pro Tools? I have Cubase and can't seem to open it.
Use the VST version and it should be ok in Cubase.

very good! 5 out of 5. Sounds clean and clear plus its kind to the cpu. lacks a bit of low end but a it's a steal in any case. It's great, dont let the simple gui fool u.
