I use FL Studio digital audio workspace. For over half a decade, it has been my fav bass alongside the sub-bass in Hypersonic. With hypersonic crashing every minute, I ended up with 4front as my only option whenever I think about third parties. Men, keep it up and thanks for offering this for free.

I don't hear anything special. It's a very flat, very uninspiring tone, far inferior to the default basses you can find in LMMS (and with less ability to customize). It goes without saying it's also laughably worse than an actual bass. If you're looking for something approximating a real bass sound, look elsewhere. Uninstalled immediately.
It is flat. And "bassy". It has its uses especially if you run it through a bass amp sim/fx.

Questo plug-in è semplicemente unico! Non ha praticamente alcuna impostazione , basta inserirlo nel vostro sequencer ed è pronto a suonare le vostre partiture midi. Io l'ho utilizzato in un pezzo rock ed il risultato è ottimo. Un consiglio che do a chi voglia utilizzarlo è di tagliare leggermente le basse frequenze e di aggiungere un saturatore molto blando , tipo simulatore di valvole,per rendere il suono più frizzante. Un pò di reverbero corto e via! Da quando ho scoperto questo plug-in ho lasciato perdere tutti gli altri suoni di basso! Buon divertimento.

You have to go to options > preferences > Plug-ins > VST, Select "Edit Path List..." > "Add Path.." > select the folder that you saved the plugin at and then select Re-scan, hit "Ok" to apply the changes and close. Perfect for a free bass VST and very good for any price bass VST though
I've had this for years. It's simple and effective. In the higher register, it has a wonderful sweet tone. Try it with masses of delay. Love it. As for lower notes not triggering, it happens with many vsts, just raise the pitch in your DAW by an octave.

I have to admit that it sounds quite good for being a bass VST (I cannot rate this 5 stars for the lack of tuning option being a 4 strings standars bass )

I am a bass player and 99% of those bass guitar modelling vsts simply make me LMAO. BUT this one... Initially I used it for sonic notation of bass lines but soon discovered that with a bit of processing it can actually be used in certain mixes! Good job, 4 Front!

Hey guys I wonder if you can help me - I finished my track, exported etc. sounding good. then I went back into Ableton as I wanted to edit a few things and the bass sounded completely off, (tuned wrong). Is there any way i can revert it? Thanks.
How has no one commented about how unbelievably out of tune this VST is? It's at least a half step and some cents off. It's useless.
I am using this with PianoTeq 5 with no problems. I hope Daniel tinkers with his VST racks a little more because this plug-in is awesome. Thank you so much for offering this.
I think maybe your samples are off, or you bumped something. Check your tuning if you're using something besides FL Studio like REASON where the temperment can get changed. Or check if the tuning of your other instruments and samples is off.

Mostly used, very helpfull and decent sounding. Does fit nearly in every rock-mix. Only the bumping effect at velocity 127 doesn't make any sense to me. Could have a little more gui options (neck and bridge pickup selection and/or fingered/plec-picked sel.)
