Pretty decent sounding analogue-ish synth with all the functions you expect, including a decent low pass filter and actally quite a lot of modulation options. Presets can be downloaded from for example here: https://www.audiobombs.com/?category=Synth%20Presets&devices.qualname.75=Synth.BrainStormer, google is your friend. To use the presets download a host, for example Tone2 Nano Host and open your synth in that.

I always slept on that one.. this is a high quality synth! You get some (good sounding!) oscillators with FM & RM possibilities.. the filter sounds allright.. but the routing that you can do is crazy! If you like sound design I highly recommend it.

Really great and strainghtforward synth. Found plenty of presets online but how to open them in Brainstormer?

Downloaded all the analog synths and this was my least favorite. Not that I need presets but a few just to test it might have bumped my score up a notch. What is did do was not what I was after. Better stuff was found.

Good but not great analog tones. Doesn't support my sustain pedal and seems to come without presets. Sounds kind of harsh for an analog style synth, not sure if it's the waves or the filter that's the problem. Sounds better than a lot of synths out there but it's not one of the very best imo.

Hands down: THE best sounding Free-Synth out there. Well arranged, easily operable, versatile and like I said it sounds amazing. It stormed my brain and lets my brain storm! Big thanks to the developers - this really helps gain a foothold in producing when starting out with no budget. <3

Is the best, amazing, thanks Roazhon DSP <3
I like this and I would certainly pay for it if it had individual unison for each oscillator. But it really need unison.

Nice, but I miss a Dimension D Chorus in it (for example). It's fun to create presets and this synth seems to be something like Oberheim, Prophet or any other vintage synth! Thanks a lot to the developer!

Completely enjoyable make sounds on. One of my favorites
This is a very good.
The 32 bit VSTi 2 version Caused Ableton Live 8 to crash when I tried to load it. Avoid.
So then don't use the 32 bit.
