It's just a single oscillator, filter, and envelope. But it's got a trick: the oscillator has "Unison", which can lead to some interesting sync sounds when adjusting Phase/Detune. That's not enough to save it, though. Unfortunately MonOsc is plagued with many issues. The Filter Env modulator range is way too low. Pitch bend does nothing. An Amp Gate switch (a la Juno) would've helped make a single Envelope slightly more flexible. An LFO for filter and vibrato wouldn't have hurt either. The Glide feature doesn't work polyphonically which also is an issue. Also the release envelope is very linear and unpleasant; ends too abruptly. An exponential curve is far more usable. And while we're at it, PWM for the Pulse wave would've been nice. Fun for an evening I suppose!

Very underrated! It's actually pretty good. Simple and easy to use.
