VL-122 virtually reproduces the vintage electro-mechanic spinet organ Hammond L-122.
The sound engine of the VL-122 is a physical modelling emulation of the real electro-mechanic generators (tone-wheels), drawbars, filters and effects (vibrato and reverb) that compose the original instrument. Moreover, some new effects have been added to recreate the complete set of timbres that characterize all the Hammond spinet organ sounds, from classic and church to rock and progressive.
Actually the VL-122 is not one more Hammond B3 or C3 console organ emulation. It is the emulation of the so called “spinet” organ L-122 (or L-1xx series, where xx is related to the mechanic design only). The spinet organ has a quite different sound, respect the most popular console organs. The timbre is less aggressive and more rounded, and it has been used in very different arrangements than the bigger brothers B3 or C3.

- High level of compatibility to different hosts and HW platforms.
- Very lightweight algorithms, so that simple and cheap virtual machines don’t suffer overloads of the CPU.
- Easy installation procedure, there is no need of any installers, simply copy the vl122.dll file to the right folder.
- High degree of MIDI configuration capability, useful when using very simple and poor VST hosts.

Does not work when using computer keyboard as midi.

This is probably one of the best VST organs ever! Definitely my favorite. I use it in almost all my compositions. The sound is gorgeous. For lovers of classical rock, blues or Bach - the very thing! :)

Excellent, simple dll only, no installer required, works a treat. Tha nks you.
I can't use it on Widows 10 in FL 20. I get noises just for loading it, can't do anything with it. Too bad, really. I heard this is is one major organ emulation.
It's not a 64 bit os

This is a bloody fantastic VST organ. One of the best. If the maker of this would ever consider doing an updated version, please publish a paypal donation address so we can send you some $$ for your efforts. <3
Anyone know how to play the lower manual over midi?
Yes it seems that channel 1 is omni, so I put upper on channel 4 and lower can keep channel 2.

This organ emulation is on point...

This is the only one if one want to do a virtual Tony Banks. I've tested the lot of the organ vsti's out there and this is one does the job.

I love this organ. I actually wish I could find a paypal link to donate a few bucks to the maker.

I would love that AM Music Technology make a clone of the Hammond B-200 and B-300 , I have searched a lot and no company has made these models.

It has a very natural and soft sound. Maybe only NubiPlus by fxPointAudio is better among free organ plugins.

Beautiful sweet Tony Banks organ sound. It's the only L122 emulation that I've found out there. Dificut to change presets from a controller. The only way I've found to do that is through VstHost program, maping the remote control midi option. Love this little thing.
Beautiful organ
How can I assign the tubeamp overdrive on and off from my controller and the lower drawbars as i have only one split keyboard studiologic 188. What are respective midi ctrl codes ?
Didn't work on FLstd20. Jammed after installing. cheers.
FL Studio - 0 . Ableton - 1
It doesn't seem like it's compatible with Studio One 3. Trying to install. Help!!
muito real esse órgão está de parabéns por esse bom trabalho.

Very good sound, maybe the best one among free organ plug-ins. The only con is a tiny interface and knobs are very small.
Thanks, the plugin is really great.

SUCH AN AMAZING JOB! Congratulations to developers! Try ASIO driver for any sound card and any OS. It makes all plugins run with no latency. Amazing!

Great! I now have my Dave Greenfield Stranglers (first three albums) sound! Well done for this worthy addition to a Keyboardist's arsenal who is over 40 years old!!! Works perfectly in Sonar X3 - 'just need to get the MIDI implementation sorted...
It doesn't work for FL studio 10! Just makes noise!

Superb and fun! Great dist and reverb... lots and lots of fun! :)

I use it to recreate Genesis presets and it works very well! Great sound, very close to the original, very good Leslie emulation too!

Played this thing all night. The Leslie emulation is perfect, as well as the tube overdrive. It does make some click noise when you stop playing, so its not perfect. Just like the Original!
It does works, but buzzing after you stop playing song... Please correct that problem.

This is an excellent plugin. Installation is easy as any VST with .dll extension. No idea why other people experienced problems. Beautiful sounds and large numer of very useful presets. Highly recommended !

Great, I love it! Thanks for your work!
Увы! Внешность обманчива ... Оценка в звёздочках - верна!

Not sure why the other commenter had problems. Works great for me, and comes with 60 presets for various organ sounds, which is more than I expected. Better than most of the other free organ VSTs I've tried.

Disaster! It Doesn't work for me, just make noise, even I don't push a key...
Making noise for me as well, not working good with fl studio 10.
Not working with FLS 11 as well. Anyone has any idea how can we fix this?
Enable "Use Fixed Size Buffer" in Processing options, that's how I fixed it in my computer, good luck!
Thanks a lot Travez. I love the Plug In and now I can finally work with it.
Just deactivate the reverb and play a key. That's what I do when the plugin starts to make noise.
and travez , where do i fin this "Use Fixed Size Buffer"option
@taasty Not sure if you've already solved your problem but...click on the gear icon, located at the top of the plug-in window, then click on the plug-with-gear looking icon, click on Processing. Under Compatibility options, you'll find Use fixed size buffers (for buggy plugins). :)
