The Autopan Modulator is an effects processor designed to work around the stereo field of any given audio source.
It can be programmed to make your tracks bounce from side to side of the audio field with several modulation options at your choice. If anyway you want to keep it simple, it will allow you to do so manually. It’s not too much to say that this effect has its own character and can impart some very cool vibes to your sound. Take some time to explore it and you will see what were talking about.

Have to comment on how awesome this plugin is since it doesn't have a 5 out of 5 for some crazy reason, especially for 808 bass kicks! If you want your 808s to sound better than you could have ever imagined, use this! This plugin will transform your 808 bass into magic with the best and most incredible autopanning to make those 808s really stand out in the mix! There is no need to over do it either. I just threw in the plugin in the FX chain and left it on default and was totally BLOWN AWAY!! This plugin in combination with Autospread Box, also by Synthscience is a great combination. Use those two with ERS Drums (in "Key Mode" on the 2nd kick module and crank up the decay), all of which are free and available on vst4free, and you will have studio quality 808s that can match any rival expensive plugins. Don't doubt me on this! I have spent a lot of money on vsts that do NOT give me this good of 808 bass quality. This is the best combination I have used and it is entirely free! Hard to beat that! Literally, I have never heard 808s sound this dope from a vst, even in very expensive cases. The best chain that I have discovered is as follows: ERS Drums EQ with a low pass filter, Autopan Modulator (used default settings but you can tweak), Auto Spreadbox (used default settings but you can tweak).
