Very accurate and nicely designed interface. Excellent for getting in and carving out problem frequencies. It does sound a bit sterile though.

I never understand how people make comments about an EQ sound? it should be just either adding gain or taking down a frequency

You can always use a transparent (sterile?) EQ in conjunction with a saturation plugin (e.g. "FerricTDS" or "Voxengo TubeAmp" [and many others]) to warm up or "vintagize" the sound.

SO detailed!! especially for a FREE paragraphic EQ! Not for vocals, but I've found it to be real useful on drums and E-Piano's!
