Aerophone models lip valve instruments with cylindrical bores such as trumpets and trombones.
The lip valve is modeled with an oversampled 3rd order mass-spring to emulate expressive acoustic performance.
The elementary acoustic circuit is capable of producing impressive emulations, however to appreciably render a human performance with this circuit requires knowledgable modulation of several parameters.

BAGPIPE! Not good as a brass simulator but for the Flugelishly. I gave it 5 stars because unlike the free bagpipe VSTI-s I have found, it will allow me to simulate an overdriven bagpipe without turning to unsalvageable noise. It also allows you to easily recreate a normal bagpipe off it's preset trumpets.

Thank you for this plug in it works really fine with me!

This plugin is capable of generating very close to real brass sounds. Mod-wheel controls swell by default, which is nice... and of course the right effect chain after the plugin will help to shape the sound, so don't expect magic.
However, I was very surprised by this plugin! Grab it!
And just in case you are using Reaper and having issues with crashes while using multiple instances of Xoxos' plugins: run them in a dedicated process.

I've produced some pretty interesting notes with this vst. It is true that the instrument is not the best alone, but when combined with others or warped, it's not half bad.

Everyone here has been saying that either it sounds really bad or pretty okay, but it really depends on what you want to use it for IMO. It's not snazzy, for sure, but it has the potential to sound very realistic. The biggest drawback for me is that it's pretty confusing. If anybody knows what type of "knowledge" the description mentions, I'd be thankful for a link of some sort. But regardless, this plugin isn't half bad.
oh yeah i agree with everyone else, this sounds like fucking garbage. dsk brass is awful but it's better than this by a longshot.

Sound not sound real but, I'm sure that I will use this.
Sorry but it sucks. The sounds are not just sweet enough.
Hello, for the ones who say garbage? Then you should learn to work with effects. In tracktion I made a rack filter. Inserted one time aerophone directly behind it thefree eq of melda 3 times, so I can arrange low mid and high. Behind the low eq, free chorus multiply, behind that, ambience reverb(free). Behind the mid eq, free waveshaper, free ambience reverb. behind the high eq, noise generator from melda(free also, search for a modulated preset), melda waveshaper. Then lead the three chains to one filter called filterbank version 3(free also), then lead the outcome trough another instance of ambience reverb, then output...... Use trombone from aerophone, MEGA MEGA GIGA PHAAAAAAT, just juggle around with the waveshapers and eq's, really nice plugin!!!!
It's not working on studio one version 3.
I wish I could have it. I like what I hear in demo. I think could be intresting with automations. BUT! It crashes my PC with blue screen (((
This Cool!!!Big Thanks

Absolute garbage. It sounds more like a string synthesizer than any of the instruments it claims to produce.

This sounds really good, realistic. you may have to pull the notes back in your DAW to allow for the breaths at the start of your notes!
The minor issue is that maybe you want a brass section, but if you open this up 2 or 3 times - at least for me in FLstudio, it crashes the thing quite regularly.
