Modern Seventh Sign is a Universal Audio 1176LN Compressor clone.

- GR/VU meter mode switch
- Input control (Relative threshold)

- Attack time control (0.03 ms to 10 ms)

I use this plugin more than 15 years and it still the best one !!!!!
Antress has also the Harcore, DynaKiller and Modern Channel that are undeatable....and almost forgot, the Daking audio simulation lol

Perfect for boost snare and hat ! Good for lick, but be careful with high tempos.

I dont know which one is closer to the original 76, this one or the older DynaKiller from the same developer (also aviable on vst4free), but I know that this one escalates really quickly and has a tendency to really dirty up the sound a LOT. The DynaKiller seems like the better option for me as a beginner, smoother gain staging, less madness. Seventh Sign is great for parallel purpuses though, for the same reason.

I have used 2 commercial equivalents and seem to prefer this over them. I think Modern Seventh Sign on channels, RedAmption on busses, could be a good starting point.

On a compressor kick. Downloaded this to compare to Sonic Anomaly's HBC. Was not disappointed. This thing delivers on drums. Not sure if I'll use it for the track I'm working on, but it's definitely going in the toolbox.

Fiz uma comparação desse plugin ecom o vc76 da "native instruments" ,e nossa, axei muito parecido,muito bom mesmo.. voltei aqui para comentar isso, vale apena deixar a dica..

Really good stuff from this developer, Antress Vintage Edition, with the LA-2ME, 1176ME, VS-ME and VariME, are decent, IMHO.

1176- sound 4 everyone, believe me!! I really recommend you this plugin. There are some great reviews (also on youtube)that shows: this piece of software is as good as the well known plugins from the big brands! if you will hear something bad about antress (or varity of sound): most time, it is just the opinion of u** quad or w**** bundle owners. spend money, spend time, take this...
