日本語コメント失礼します。 いつか忘れましたが、椎名もたさんもこのプラグインを愛用していたと聞いて使い始めました。 使い始めてみると、「無料のクセにいい音してるな」と感じてずっと使っています。

Amazing Plugin! Great and very easy to use... Thanks a lot!

It doesn't appear in the folder
must download 32 ver!
One important suggestion this lacks of noises, fret noises, releases etc that is needed to achieve a more natural and realistic sound... please add
It's sad that this vst is discontinued because this could make spicy guitar incredibly realistic!

It's pretty decent overall. It doesn't sound the best at times and when put into a mix of sampled instruments, the electronic sound of this one does stick out a bit. I also had some issues with the auto chord detection playing different chords each time the track played or chords on the wrong octave. However, I am still super impressed with how intricate and customizable this is for a free VSTi and still highly recommend it!

Great tone and dynamic

Can't go lower than E2

Excellent. Realistic sound, easy to use, neat GUI, runs smoothly. So far, one of those "too good to be free" deals.
Keep crashing on ableton live 9

Super cool!!!

Revitar is a good alternative if it does not work

Please add a midi out feature so this can play other instruments too! That would be amazing. Thank you for this wonderful plugin.

FL studio keeps crashing when I load this plugin
For freeware, this is astonishingly good. The chord detection system is outstanding, and sounds are better than decent. As a keyboard player, it fulfills a dream for me of doing left-handed guitar strums while playing something else in the right hand. My only quibble -- and I would pay to have it tweaked -- is that I would love for the chord detection keys to go as low as C (below the current E). As a keyboard player (started on organ with C to C bass pedals), I've always thought that C is the root of everything. I realize guitarists see things starting at E. But if this little tweak could be added, it would make this nearly perfect. A huge shoutout to the developer (if he/she is reading, I'm at robertjwright999@outlook.com). Rob

You simply won't find a better free acoustic guitar VST. With some good pedal distortion, EQ and reverb, it can even sound quite similar to an electric guitar. Thanks for offering this for free. Highly recommended.

Creative indeed. Good to spice things up I'd say.

Way too quiet really have to hit the gain hard with this one. I was dissapointed with the overall guitar sounds very flat and boring :(
Didn't you find the volume slider, under the chili bean? :-D

Sorry May I ask some questions? is it totally free? I mean if there is an original version I'll buy it. Thanks!

Good guitar

Sound **** - a little thin, but that's the usual problem of physical modelling experiments. On the other hand, it reminds me of something like a Roland Juno 50: you can't really make it sound bad. Features **** - many ways to change the sound, but I wish it had a few more controls to recreate the sound of more guitar articulations and ethnic instruments. I like the inclusion of the strumming engine and reverb-knob, even though I use my own reverb. GUI ***** - delightfully dead-simple, especially for a physical modeling synth (something like NI Prism springs to mind: too many controls and confusement about what does what - nothing like that here). Stability ***** - Stable, doesn't crash DAW. Low-to-moderate CPU-consumption. Overall, I'm giving it 4 - if the developers continue to
add features and sound manipulation-options, it could one day be a full 5.
This is one of the best sounding vsts

I'm using it in Mixcraft 8. Works fine. I'm pleasantly surprised in that it does sound (more) like genuine strumming once I get the midi track notes selected and recorded so that Spicy Guitar goes into chord detection mode, and I trigger the down-strum/up-strum patterns I want. All of this was very easy to set up. If I want to tweak the sound much, and I don't find the built in options in Spicy Guitar, I can always slap on channel effect from Mixcraft.

Hadn't seen or heard anything about this plugin until now, very surprising as it's one of the best acoustic guitar vsts I've found. Sounds amazing and easy to play. Chord detection is nice and responsive and there's enough sound controls to get the tone you're looking for pretty quickly.

Looks nice and sounds nice.

Very nice plugin, thanks

Works really well and sounds fairly good. Only flaw is that the VST crashes everytime in iOS, but no on Windows!

This plug in keeps freezing ableton for me whenever i try to close the plugin and look at the rest of my session. and it the black dots dont show up on the guitar arm to show the chords with chord detection as shown in the video. seems to have good sound tho
Wicked Thank you so much.

Just downloaded this and using it in Reaper...sounds AMAZING. Really like a real acoustic guitar once you play with the settings some. Personally I like Lucy's Folk guitar setting, added some Xhip/reverb and it sounds so very much like my Takameni its uncanny ;) Thank you so much for this.

My favorite Free Nylon Guitar VST! And I haven't found any better one so far after two years very intense web research!
Anyone used spicy guitar in reaper? I'm new to reaper and I can't seem to make it work in reaper. I've can see it in my VST folder, I can add it to the track and I can see it but it does nothing, will not detect music, will not do anything. am I doing something wrong? is there something I should do before adding it? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
This is really cool
VST32 version working fine in Mulab.

I really liked the VST. The sounds weren't right for my project but I can see how this could sound really good on the right track. Kudos for keeping it free!
(2 / 5)
Unfornately it keeps crashing in FL 12. Wish there would be a fix, because the vst itself is really good.
Same here as well

Brilliant vst. Run it in Reaper 64. No problems. Gteat sounds.
(4 / 5)
Thank you so much, I really like this vst :)

The 64-bit version worked perfectly in Reaper. With a little practise, you can get some realistic up and down strumming. However, the 32-bit version did not work too well on Adobe Audition 3 (which I am sure is the fault of Audition, not the fault of Spicy Guitar). It crashed a lot in Audition and the chord detection would fail and select wrong chords. Did not have any of those issues in Reaper. Great plugin, lots of cool stuff like strumming, harmonics, palm mutes.

Trop top comme Vst, je vous le conseil.
Sounds really awesome! Better than most plugins I've tried. Great tweaking functions on this plugin. If you know guitar chords well, it sounds even better!

Wow! Such a great Vst plugin. I like it, really good! :)

Worst vst ever, my Daw never chrashed before but with this plugin it chrashed 3 times in 5 min.
Real real realistic for real, go for it for real.

There really aren't any good sounding Guitar VSTs anywhere. I stumbled upon this and boy am I happy I did. It solved my issue of the only missing natural instrument for my tunes. Thanks; it sounds the best of all 'simple' guitars I've tried. Its most natural and the chord detection really works for strumming too.
(4 / 5)
It seems to work fine in Reaper on Mac. Guitars well modelled and the sounds are excellent. I'm using it as a learning aid at present. Learning guitar. The GUI could be bigger and easier to read and also it would be good if it could stay on top when using other windows in Reaper. I don't know if the dev has any control over that or not.

Nice plugin, works well with FL Studio 11 Producer Edition.
Spicy guitar not working in reaper?

Really good but eat my CPU.

They don't come much better than this as far as free VST acoustic guitars go.
It's an excellently designed guitar VST. Just chuck some reverb on it and you'll be able to use it for anything acoustic, from Flamenco upwards. And it's Free!! A really good acoustic guitar VST.
I never though that I will get a real guitar plugin, thank to the maker, this is great.. Work well in fl studio.

This is the one I was searching for. Real natural sounds!! :) thank you very much!!
