I'm into synths for over 30 years and can say only one thing, Tyrell N6 is The King of VA Synths ever. I cannot regret that the hardware version did not realize because It would be great to have a compact little beast to bring it all over the stages and studios.

Still sounds great!

I like that VST preset from early 2010's or what year it was.

The Tyrell Nexus 6 is another magnificent masterpiece from Uhe; if you're an analog addict, then you'll definitively enjoy it. The GUI makes it a breeze for sound architecture and the results will blow you away.
*Note: You can find additional presets on Uhe's website (see link below).

Really great analogue sound.

Excellent synth in the Juno 6 / 106 vein. Lots of presets, the chorus effect is really amazing, and the saw is the buzziest of saws. Really a required VST.
Ну и гадость, зря не послушал. Целый вечер комп чистил от этого арбуза.

Comes highly recommended and sounds good, but I have had problems due to high CPU usage, which I'm not experiencing with other U-he products like Tripple Cheese etc

Excellent synth but it reminds me a lot of DiscoDSP OB-Xd which is a similar analog style synth that covers a lot of the same ground and sounds better at every type of function (pads, leads, basses etc.). So I would definitely have to recommend that synth over this one. Also it sounds like it goes up to just 4 voice polyphony which is a bit limiting for pads.

Tyrell N6 is a top quality VA softsynth, up there with the best freebies PG-8X, Obxd, Xhip, Mausynth, Charlatan. <3 <3 <3

Very useful and easy to make your own sounds.

Muy buen sonido, y grandes posibilidades

Amazing freebie! <3<3<3
True, but it really needs better oversampling or antialiasing badly. :)

Excellent !

This is wonderful. Very high quality. CPU cost can be heavy, but not nearly as drastic as some have suggested. Just be careful with the voices. You can also consolidate to an audio file and disable the plugin to restore lost CPU.

It sucks, not worth it

Can't get how this isn't top 1 because IT IS. I made a full song with it for an professional album. Plus, this free vst made me purchase almost all U-HE Synths (Zebra2, Hive2, Repro1 and Repro5)

This awesome synth is almost a decade old and is still among the best top freebies available. The sound is still very impressive.

Lovely warm, big, fat, thick analogue sound. Top freebie.
Yes, the Tyrell Nexus 6 is wonderful. The only minus it has is the nasty aliasing. I really hope it gets updated or upgraded by u-he in the future. <3<3<3

There is not enough creative goodness you can invoke to say how much fun you'll have playing with anything from U-He. Zebra2 and the free Zebralette are simply the best you can get and there are many presets out there you can find for those and TyrellN6 that will give you a starting point for anything creative you can imagine. Basically you drop it into Reaper or your preferred host, plug something into it and wake up 6 hours later wondering wtf just happened. Highly Recommended.

Astounding sounding synthesizer! If only U-He would upgrade the anti-aliasing/oversampling in this fabulous instrument and bring back and unlock the features and parameters from the first alpha version of the Tyrell Nexus 6....
Yes, the Tyrell Nexus 6 is still one of the very best free analogue subtractive synth emulations, it still sounds awesome. But the aliasing is a problem and needs to be fixed.
Yeah the aliasing is annoying, sadly.

Excellent sound. 5/5

Sounds very powerful, easy to create own performances, also nice presets; but the higher CPU usage is sometimes a real "funkiller".... regrettably!

Wonderful analogue and organic sound but a total CPU destroyer. Be careful with this if your computer is older.

Incredible free synth with awesome sounds and possibilites, but it needs to much CPU for me. 3/5

A great synth with a very warm sound, but it will bring your PC on its knees.
Masterpiece... thanx!!!!
Awesome!!!!!!!
Very nice plugin

Best of the best free synth.
Really Great sounds, comes with great presets. just the CPU usage cripples me.
Another work of art from Uhe

Great sounds, easy to use and the patches included are good too.
Incredible synth, shame it just eats all Processing power

Hmm, not as good as the hype, perhaps, but still sounds amazing. Don't be fooled by the presets, this synth is better than them... Some odd choices for storing presets and quite the cpu hog means this gets a 4/5.

Very high CPU load combined with average presets, which are often easily portable (recreatable) on other synth with low CPU usage. Very bad optimized for CPU. Very beatiful GUI though.
Sounds Amazing. EATS CPU! The interface for patch and bank storage is strange. Very European.
