Works really great for me, I can get very close to the original Vox sounds I want.
What sequencer are you using?
Plugin doesn't work on Apple Silicon Macs (M1,M2...).
This was one of the few plug-ins for a long time that worked flawlessly as 64-bit. But never play it dry or you'll think it's weak! (Meant to use another last word.) Play through any amp. simulator, distortion, lo-fi bit destroyer, spring reverb, stereo-maker and stuff like that. I like automating stuff while holding long keys. This doesn't protest doing that. Would have wanted MIDI note velocity supported. Liked this one more than the author's other "Combo".
These organs didn't have key velocity.. so it's more realistic NOT to support MIDI velocity.

I am using this VST on Windows 10 with REAPER and I am experiencing problems. Whilst the organ works using its own virtual keyboard, it is not however responding to MIDI inputs from my Roland FP-90X piano. I can see that the MIDI signal on the track but no go. So yes, a very good sounding organ, but entirely useless to me.
So if someone gave you a Bugatti but you couldn't get it to work you'd give it 1 out of 5. Pathetic. I've got Reaper on Windows 10 too and I can get it to work ok even using a crummy Microfreak, so its obviously not the plug-in that's the problem. Either you don't know what you're doing, or your keyboard's crap. I actually don't think PlugIns4Free should allow people to skew a plug-in's average mark negatively by giving it a zero or a one just because they can't get the plug-in to work on their system. For example, if 10 people gave a brilliant plug-in 5 out of 5, its average mark would be 5. But it would only take 3 people to come along and give it zero because they couldn't get it to work on their systems for that mark to drop down to 3.8, thus giving the impression the plug-in was absolutely nothing special. (Countless times I've seen:"Doesn't work on FL. Zero."). For what it's worth, Patrick, this plug-in will only play notes starting at C3. If you play anything lower, you won't get a sound. Maybe that was the problem.
writer uk, it doesn't work after c3 prob because you need to transpose one octave higher
Good Plugin good organ

Best Vox emulation for free! Thanks a bunch!

Works great! thanks a very good copy of the original!
How do I access the 32 presets?
Its depending on your DAW. In most cases there is a function in the plugin-window of the DAW where you can select the presets of any plugin.

Ha! ha ! ha! Everyone (or almost) has problems. VST is really crap and wasted time.
Then why give it five stars-
Frustrated! I can't seem to get it to work on my Imac/Catalina Garageband. Anybody else got it to work on same setup?

The plugin has a great sound and I really love being able to control it just like a real Vox Continental. The only issue I have is that the first two drawbars and the last four drawbars use opposite number conventions in a MIDI controller (16 and 8, 0 = all the way out and 127 = all the way in; 4, IV, sine and saw, 0 = all the way in and 127 = all the way out). It's a little weird when using a MIDI controller with sliders mapped to the drawbars because you have to remember which ones move in the same direction as the sliders and which ones move opposite.
It didn't seem to work on macOS Catalina but I solved it like this: click Cancel (not Move to Trash), open System Preferences, click on "Security & Privacy" and "Allow Anyway".
Hi, it doesn't seem to work for me. Check Preferences -> Security but could not find any way to give permissions. Could you give more details. Thanks in advance!
Try this : https://www.imore.com/how-open-apps-anywhere-macos-catalina-and-mojave . Hope that helps....
Excellent ! Works perfectly with Ableton Live 32 bits and Mac OS X 10.11.
I have problems with the Release and Attack, not work :(
I don't have any problems on a Mojave Hackintosh whatsoever. Plugin works perfectly fine with Logic Pro X.

I also am having no luck installing this. Is it perhaps incompatible with Logic X? I'm using version 10.4.4 . Thanks, I'd love to be able to use this!
Same problem, I had it on earlier versions of OSX. I think it's not compatible with either Mojave or Logic 9. The manual only goes up to Mavericks and Logic 9 which means it hasn't been tested by the manufacturer for these versions
Tried AU and VST in both 32 and 64 bit versions, no luck. I think it's not being maintained since developer now works for Arturia. I'd recommend buying their synth or vox sound yamaha's reface YC which is close but the vibrato isn't quite the right.
I remember having trouble with this when Logic didn't rescan my plugins. Try installing both versions, rescan plugins in Logic plugin manager and restart PC. Then create a new track as a software instrument and load up the plugin under Martinic > Combo Model V. Keep trying, this definitely works under Mojave and Logic Pro X latest versions
I can´t see the Combo Model V anywhere in Logic. I followed the guide, and it is in Componts but not in Logic. Do I have the right version ( ComboV_133_AU_x64.dmg) for Logic Pro 10.4.4? Or which one? Did i miss something? Help please!

The sound exceeded my expectations and it works really well

just great studio one v2 win 7 64bit
Can't seem to make this or Combo F work properly with SAVIhost. Just throws errors about renaming the SAVI exe even though I've already tried that. VSThost doesn't work either.
Does anyone know if this plug-in works with latest version of Logic Pro on Mojave? I cannot get the component to show up. Thanks,
"When the music's over yeahhhhhhhhh" :) Great sound

The most accurate Vox Continental emulation out there, even better than the one at Nord Electro 4D.

Nice red organ ...
After looking at all the crap this works very nicely. I had my doubts but here is something that works without bullshit on my MAC EL CAPITAN and logic pro!
(4 / 5)
Volume goes down 75% after a few minutes. Sucks because the plugin is pretty loyal to the sound.
For the people not finding this in Logic X, it's most likely a 32-bit plugin that hasn't been updated for 64-bit in the audio unit version.
Am having the same problem. The component is there in the right file path, Logic X el capitan is not recognizing it...

Wow in this video it sounds more real than the payed one.
Don't work with cubase 5 on windows 10...
Works for me... Cubase 5/Win 7 pro.
Ohh..No!! Arturia has this and the ComboF....both sound the same as these, just has more effects available....
Hi! I'm very interested in porting this to Linux. Do you think is possible to open the source code? Thanks a lot! Very good job!!
Short answer... No. This dev works for Arturia now. Linux is not in the cards for that group.... However!!! See this: Bristol Instruments for Linux : http://bristol.sourceforge.net

I love this!!! I love this!!! and the Combo F too.... 6 x Stars!!!

I really love this plug but every 5 or 6 minutes it cut's off somehow? anyone know anything about this issue?
Anyone uses the Combo V on Mac OS X Yosemite whit Logic Pro X? It seems doesn't properly works. Logic can't find the AuUeven if there is in the component folder! Thx for help!
Having the same problem. bummer :(

Great plugin. Sounds like the real Vox continental! It's a pitty that there is no Yosemite/Cubase pro update like the one for ComboF, so realtime adjustements and automation are possible.
I loved this Combi V and now it no longer works with Mainstage 3. I love the Combi F Martinic did and still use that in MS3 but I wish the V worked as well. I'd pay money for both of these plug-ins tp save me re-writing patches. :-/
No it indeed does not seem to work... Even when renaming the .vst to .component (which I've seen people do on the web).

Thank you Martinic, the Combo Model V sounds perfect but I can't get key velocity to work but does with the Mr Ray plugin for Fender Rhodes Bass using spilt keyboard (Arturia Keylab61) even their Vox Continental V doesn't have sensitive keys either? Or am I doing something wrong? Please help, thanks :)
Looks like the midi velocity is used to control "contact keys", check out the manual !
Great job on this and the model f vst... awesome!!!!

Great sound!

The Model V, and the model F,FANTASTIC

Nice, especially if you add some grit. Add Camel Crusher to get a very very funky baseline. Thanks!
Try this out: Combo V or F into Amplitube 3 (any of the Marshalls or the AC30's)

The Model V, and the model F, are great organs. Pitty that a bit too PCU hungry. The sound is fantastic

I really love the sound of it!

Great Vox Continental tone, without the "beehive" of the real thing.
