EasyQ is an easy-to-use equalizer with an arbitrary number of filter stages in series connection.

This is probably the best free EQ out of any plugin on Windows. It has unlimited bands and Mid/Side processing, what more could you want? Combined with ReaEQ (also has unlimited bands + Allpass filter band + shows musical note corresponding to band frequency + shows phase response) and NovaEQ (supports dynamic EQ) there's no need for any other EQ plugin, free or paid.

I think I've been using EasyQ consistently since like 2008? (now it's 2022). This EQ is SOOOO easy to use and sounds really nice. I can't say enough nice things about this EQ. The GUI is pretty and decent too. Thank so much for this gem. I use it in Windows and Linux (with WINE or with Yabridge). Anybody who relies upon nice filters and stuff for synth sounds, this will help you out.

This is just a nice parametric EQ that sidesteps some of the limitations found in most DAWs' included EQs. Namely, it allows you to set a different EQ per stereo channel, and have an arbitrary number of peaks (not just four as usual) rather than stacking EQ plugins.

Really nicely designed. Very good for carving out an exact eq shape. I've not used it much but there seems to be a glitch with my DAW where it seems to forget some of my settings and the settings are weird when i load it up again. It doesn't really sound any different from the default EQs that come with my DAW. This shines because it's an effective EQ and a really nice interface. If you're looking for something that sounds nicer than whatever EQ you're already using then this probably isn't for you.

Been using this for ever on every mix. Great for surgical or broad apps. Gui can be a bit touchy till you get used to it.

An everyday miracle. My go to EQ. Use it on each track for mixing. Does the hardest jobs without affecting the CPU. Became my savior through the years.

Breathtaking audio quality! The GUI is really unexciting, but please don't let you fool. On long and lonely evenings I tested out such a lot of free soft eq's and this is the best parametric- eq so far(beside the Audiocation AQ- 1). My reference was my beloved and famous commercial "ren- eq" and the "easy- q" sounds nearly as good. Transparent, warm, with a cool amount of bite, but never harsh. Thanx so much to the developer Robin Schmidt. ( BTW: I recommend you easy q's coulor scheme "winter- night" :-D).
