GSnap is an auto-tune effect.
It can be used subtly to correct the pitch of a vocal, or, with more extreme settings, to create a robot-voice effect.
The GUI features a set of 12 knobs which control all of the plug-in's parameters. Each has its function clearly labelled above, and features a user-editable readout below. Additionally, twelve "switches" next to the pitch data view correspond to the twelve semitones of a full octave in the Western chromatic scale, and are used to supplement the "fixed" mode of GSnap. Two further switches allow the user to select between "fixed" or "midi" modes, explained below.
The controls are divided into three groups: Detection, Correction, and MIDI. The Detection section allows you to fine-tune GSnap's ability to deal with incoming audio. Correction determines the method and audible effect of the tuning algorithm. MIDI controls determine how GSnap deals with particular MIDI information.

Dosen't work for windows 32.bit
I'm using the plugin on windows, I got the 32 bit version, and I'm using it on audacity. It keeps saying the plugin wont register because it failed to load the library. It doesnt come with anything but a .dll and the license so im not sure what to do, could someone tell me? ^^

Incredibly effective and simple to use. It immediately improves vocals in a subtle and natural-sounding way. I highly recommend using this for some final pitch-correction on vocals that are already most of the way there but need a little help.
Nice and easy to use, great company, thank you.

Doesn’t work on Raspberry Pi 4 or 400 under Debian 11
My pc will not instal gsnap without "administrator authorisation" This makes it of no use.
Can i pitch voice like melodyne?
Yes and no! You can create the classic "cher / t-pain"-effect by inserting this plugin oder by MIDI. And what´s important for me: you can create a very subtle pitch-correction like the ANT*R*S-stuff. Generally MEL*D*NE will go at step further with it´s features. At least don´t forget, it´s free!

Awesome lightweight autotune for free! It even accepts midi signals! Nice!
Is Gsnap only on windows? I have a MacBook and a chrome book but I can't find a way to download it. Thx in advance.
Yes, GSnap is Windows only... Some Mac similar plugins there : https://vst4free.com/effects/Pitch/
i like gsnap

It wouldn't tune my voice. But I have this problem with all tuners. Maybe I sing in perfect key or so bad that even tuners won't have anything to do with it. You decide.

My standard tool for this purpose.

Nice and fantastic
Can produce good results for subtle vocal pitch correction using the attack and release controls wisely. Start with them fully off i.e. turned all the way clockwise. Then bring them back anti clockwise until you find the sweet spot you are looking for. Work the attack first. Then the release.
