Great vst but one small problem - doesn't appear to save the selected patch in Cakewalk. I set it up and record but when I go back and restart Cakewalk the vst has gone back to a default setting although the last used patch is ticked in the list - I have to manually reselect it.

Sound very Juno-esque. As the real thing, it is a limited, but great sounding synh. The Midi learn does'nt work for me as in other Elektrostudio VSTs, but I discovered that it could respond to MIDI CCs if you edit the "MIDIcontrollers.txt" in the "jsx00" folder of this VST. Some midi CCs for this synth : FilterCutoff=88; Reso=87; EnvAmt=84; Kbd=89; HPF=86; PWM=103; ArpegiatorON/OFF=12; ArpMode=75; ADSRenvelope=73-110-109-112.

I just made some tests (spectrum analyzer & oscilloscope) comparing this to the latest Arturia Jun-6 V and the oscillators & filters are IDENTICAL. The only difference is that Arturia has added the noise from the analog circuits. The Arturia also has more non-stock features like and extra envelope + effects and modulation possibilities.
If you don't feel like getting the Arturia you can use this. It sounds the same. I took presets from 'Sixth Month June' and managed to replicate them on the Arturia version. They sounded exactly the same. This is a no-brainer download. Sounds great.

This is really one of the best free emulation of any vintage synth I've found. Sounds super lush and full with that amazing chorus and with reverb it's like heaven.

An old favourite. Great for making a supersaw, much easier than with other synths. Can be a bit of a cpu sapper when you play with all the bells and whistles but not too much. Attack control is not very good. I like it though, 5 stars for what it does well.

Sehr gute Arbeit. Aber im Vergleich zum echten Juno 60: Ein hohe Attacktime bringt hier keinen weiches Attack, sondern eher ein verzögertes. Und der Sound tendiert manchmal mehr zu Casio als zu Roland. (Very good work. But in comparision to a real Juno 60: A high attack time here provides no smooth attack but a delayed one. And the sound sometimes tends to be more Casio than Roland.)

The skin is accurate. I used to have both the 60 and the JP-6 and the oscillators sound more VCO than DCO. The filters are very nice. There are other free Juno vsts with more accurate Roland chorus, but I never liked the chorus on the Juno anyhow. It was a last-ditch effort to make it sound thick like the Jupiter. All in all, a great enjoyable vst that brings back the old days.

Probably among my 10 favorite plugs in the world. Sure im a retro fan and still hold on some of the catchy sounds produced by the original, that this ones reproduces with amazing quality. Its absolute fun to play with the controls in such a tiny and perfectly skinned interface.
