Aethereal is an ambient vector synth for creating evolving atmospheres and textures.
Aethereal comes equipt with over 100 built in sampled sounds such as synth tones, atmospheres, vocal pads and sound FX. The sounds can be loaded into 4 wave oscillators which can be mixed between using a sophisticated 4-Way TransMixer, either manually, with auto-modulation or in a set transition from one sound to the next.
The Auto-Modulation section can also control the Multi-Vector, which uses three X/Y Position Points to modulate various parameters. Each point can be assigned to 2 different parameters which are then controlled in the vector grid by moving the Position Point up/down & left/right. To add to the modulation options is a 16-step mod sequencer, which can modulate things like the filter and pitch.
All of this along with 2 multi-stage filters, a dual delay, 3 modulation envelopes and assignable modwheel and pitchbender make Aethereal a very flexible and expressive ambient synthesizer with many possibilities.

One of my favorite synths I have ever used. been using this bad boy for a few years now and I still go back to it. Just overall very solid for the kind of hypnagogic vibes I tend to go for. Definitely good for more experimental music. Lo-fi anything lol. You could use these for dream pop, shoegaze, juke, trap, even metal (which I will certainly be doing).

Use vst bridge to run a 32bit plugin in a 64bit DAW
Or just switch to Reaper. ;)
Podes convertir 32bits a 64bits con jbridge plug in externo. Es muy liviano, fácil y muy útil. Saludos.-
¿Cómo se hace? Estoy tratando de usar este efecto en audition 2021 y después de usar jbridge y escanear el directorio del plugin .dll, no me muestra el efecto en la lista...

I don't remember ever downloading this synth. It just appeared in my VST folder one day. I have absolutely no idea how to use it, and the arcane array of knobs baffles and scares me. The sounds it emits are seriously unnerving, and randomizing the controls only results in more and more unearthly roars and wails.I'm convinced this thing is haunted. 5/5.

This is very, very remarkably good. I'm a VST junkie who has tested out literally thousands of VSTs, and this synthesizer can compete even with some non-free ones. If you ever want anything ambientesque, this will do it for you. Absolutely remarkable.

Cool Space Ambient VSTi - synthesizer
Would love to get it running, but haven't been able to fully load it on Mixcraft 6 (receive many many errors). Any suggestions?
Can't get this to work in reaper...
Certainly works with Reaper. Make sure your in/outs/channels are correct. Took me 2min from download to playing. Good Luck
This has remained one of my very favorite synths for creating soundscapes, and it's one of the few VST synths I've found that continues to reward me for continuing to experiment with it over several years. Give Aethereal a fair chance and you won't regret it. By the way, Psychic Modulation is one of my favorite indie synth developers, so check out all their stuff!
I really prefer hardware synths to software synths, but Aethereal is really great. If I had to choose only 1 softsynth, Aethereal would be it.

Not bad. It's got a pretty good texture but it's not terribly thick. It would be useful as a background pad or something. Takes a bit of learning too.
