This plugin from 2007 was probably one of the best freeware synths I found in 2020. It's a dirty, mangy old thing with buttons and sliders that you have no idea what they are or what they do, and that's the beauty of this crazy thing. You can get some really unique warped low-fi sounds to come out of the Frankenstein synth.

Who needs presets (besides the lazy)? This thing makes sweet noise all on its own, for the person patient enough to experiment with it for 2 minutes.

Presets are often used as a departure point and to get an idea what the synth is capable of. This is in fact legal in most jurisdictions.

This vst is amazingly perfect for experimental lofi, noise, and glitch. Its not meant for every genre, but thats what makes it a unique download.
