Dirthead is a 3 channels guitar amp: clean, crunch and ultra.
It comes with the usual controls found on guitar amplifiers and additionally a voicing knob that alters some internal poweramp parameters. Dirthead is available as a freeware vst plugin for windows and can be used in every host application that supports vst plugins.

One of the best free heavy amps I have used....... combine it with a gate and a drop d tuning ........ disturb the f**k out of neighbors.

A very tiny and powerful guitar amplification VST. It has a natural sound and ability to switch cabinet on and off, so you can route it straight to your audio card output and then to amplifier. Nothing extra, just use it with with some other plugins like gate, reverb, etc. Sounds great!

I searched and shifted through quite a few guitar amp VST plugins before running across this one and most of them sucked. A few were ok, but just not quite there. As soon as I strummed the first chord I knew that this was the only plugin for distortion that I was ever going to want or need. The sound is incredibly realistic. I'm currently recording a very loud rock album with it and it sounds like I have a mic up to a cranked half stack. Do yourself a favor and give this plugin a try. I highly recommend that you use a noise gate with this, but that is to be expected from such a realistic, hi-gain tube modeler and it's really no big deal. It wouldn't sound as believable if it was perfectly quiet and with a name like Dirthead it just wouldn't be right. Great job Ndzeit.
One of the best head sims. only prob is it makes ALOT of noise so use a noise gate after it and then a cab emulator
