There's a few specific presets in this one that are one of a kind and sound pretty smooth. D(ata)...Bl(oc)k... (Ef)F(ects:x) is still a nice classic. With all these new fany DSP fx around it might be tempting to throw away some of the oldies, but PLEASE DON'T--they are still great sounding and still work. We need these 32-bit plugins and others for our sounds. Thanks for this.

One of my goto plugins. The best for spectral processing, this and the Paulstretch vst version. It's part of those classics that I will probably use for a long time like the MDA plugins. I started using those in 98 and still do.

This is THE plugin for anyone who is after some serious DSP. It does it all, comb filtering, flanging, precision EQ, pseudo-reverbs, pitching, all sorts of frequency mangling, and for anyone familiar with Aphex's Drukqs-era tracker stuff; this VST is the only thing that even comes close to unlocking some of the insane spectral processing he did on those tracks, this thing+drums=heaven. The absolute spectral destruction that this thing is capable of is just sublime, this might be the only multi-DSP you will ever need.

I love this thing! great for mangling sounds into other worldy textures. i believe it first appeared as a buzz tracker effect plugin?

Attempted to download this for my mac and dragged the vst into my vst folder but it wont show up on my ableton, does anyone know why?

You probably are running on a 64bit version of osx, unfortunately this plugin only runs on 32bit os for mac unless someone has made an upgrade :/

Very awesome vst. Very rare type of programming that i dig a lot. Very mathematical. I have an android app that is somewhat similar in style called DroidBeat. A non-synth edit unorthodox vst.

This thing could be selled for 100 €! It's a wonderful collection of FX. BTW...to me, it has the best vocoder in the freeware world. It takes time to become acquainted with DtBlkFx.

IT DOES FUNCTION.... Been using this since 2005/6 (old ver).. You either get it or you don't... you'll love it or hate it... I love it ...
