It works well, I just don't enjoy using it as I find it somewhat uneventful and boring as all Reaper plugins

This EQ came pre-loaded on my Reaper DAW. I use it on both instruments and the main buss. It is fantastic. I experimented with other EQ's and found nothing that out did this plug-in.

It's a very nice equalizer !!! Strongly recommend for all !!! Don't look for a very simple interface. High quality - it's a main advantage of this plugin !!!

Is this a Linear Phase EQ? I don't know what IRR means ?

It´s not a Linear Phase EQ, but there are other freebees for this tasks. If you are interested in theorie, here is a YT-video, that eplains IIR-filtering -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRMe02kzVkA

Beside "Robin Schmidt EasyQ" my free go-to parametric equalizer. As good as commercial plugins. From the sonically point of view I like "EasyQ" a little bit more, but technically I really love ReaEQ, because it has the possibility of very, very narrow notches to filter annoying frequencies. I´m so happy with this eq!

Have and use lots of EQ'S but always use this reliable vst. It does the job and has all the necessary options, clearly laid out.

This EQ is a great addition to any musician/engineer's toolbox. To me, it excels at two things :Utility and Transparency. UTILITY: The sheer amount of bands available, all without limit mean that it's useful whether you want to automate a single band, or make surgical adjustments to multiple frequencies when de-essing. It is extremely lightweight so you can run multiple instances of it on all your tracks and you'll probably be fine. Sometimes it will make it in the chain just to cut a single frequency somewhere. TRANSPARENCY: This is EQ is totally transparent. It imparts no character. Sometimes you absolutely want a character compressor or EQ. But for a lot of uses, you don't want to add or take anything away but what you want. LIMITATIONS: The GUI is little small on larger screens. Scaleable would be nice, but this tends to be a paid feature. There is no M/S processing. To use this EQ for M/S you need another plugin to convert the signal. Being able to choose channel bands would be amazing. There is no dry/wet function. This isn't a problem on its native DAW of Reaper, however in other DAWs this extra control would have been nice. This is a superb plugin to have around and invariably makes it into my work even though I tend to use paid plugins nowadays.

Definitely a very nice EQ that does its job. I've used this as my first EQ for a long time, though I have now moved to MEqualizer.

I have used this for around 3 years on all my guitar tracks as I work with extreme distorted guitars. I can add as many bands as I need and suck a ton of harsh and annoying frequencies out of amp sim vst's giving me a better tone.

Really useful and nice to shape any sound thanks to the unlimited number of band and the many "presets", but is kind of unstable with my cubase 64 and line 6 pod (ux2). A shame because it's a real modeling tool.

Great plugin but I noticed that it is unstable in the Audition software, outside of that, the other daws work well with it.

I doubt I will ever need another one. Fast and intuitive to use, and the result is instantly evident in the diagram. Btw, this comes bundled with the "REAPER" DAW, which rocks likewise.
