Terrible. In my own words... "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
(3 / 5)
It has some things it does really well. I use this in particular for two things: pedal steel (because of the enormous bend range required, which is lacking from BJAM, and also because it is simple to set up a soft attack), and screaming metal lead (need that tremolo bridge). However, even if I get a sound I like, there are some "why?" moments, like: - Some of the patches are AN OCTAVE LOWER than the others. WHY? - No muting, harmonics, or anything but the one sound selected. This is why I made BJAM (it has these). - The effects sections (the lower half of the instrument window) uses enormous amounts of CPU time, and can also cause notes to get "stuck on". It also can sound glitchy or crackly. I always leave them switched off and use separate inserts in the DAW.
Don't even bother with this junk.... Not worth the time. The operating files are not up to date, The sound quality is shit, and it seems way out dated

The quality is very bad....but then again so is every other electric guitar vst, I've yet to find a half decent one....

I have a few other DSK products, and thought I'd try this one for kicks. I've been working on a cover of the original theme from Hawaii Five-O, and didn't want to learn the actual guitar line. This really hit the spot! With the right amount of FX, this fine little plugin kinda sounds like a well traveled Tele. I love it!!

The developers need to go back to the drawing board with this and do the job properly, because none of the presets sound like an electric guitar, but more like a synthesizer making a half-hearted effort to sound like one.

It's actually pretty good. Once you know how to use most of the controls and add other vts' for the software. Good job.

It sounds too "artificial" for my liking.
(0 / 5)
Sounds really thin and artificial. No amount of amplification and distortion could make this sound good. Even a dry guitar soundfont sounded more convincing.

Sustain Sound of long Strat and Garcia Guitar Notes as well as Power Guitar overall sounding pretty unrealistic and are therefor no option for me. Mondo and Blues Guitar work well for non-chord leadlines. But you have to do a lot of work to make them sound realistic anyways. This free VST is okay, but doesn't convince me either.

I like it. It uses lots of CPU usage on LMMS but besides that it works and sounds good.
LMMS don't support many VST... It crashes everytime... I used Helm with it and I couldn't get sth good, so now I use Ableton. I know it's not free, but If you find something free other than LMMS, you should stop using this software...

This vst has good potential, I did a redo of the forest by the cure with this vst with really good results, really good, but must play around to get what you want!

No this is not excellent.

DSK have made a decent stab at an electric-guitar sound here, but you'll have to be very clever with your FX if you want it to sound natural.Best to use two or three different plug-ins if you want to go from open-strings to staccato, to lead, or whatever. Time-consuming, though.

Sound too "wave". Not really realistic.

C'est pas a la hauteur mais bon c'est free quand méme pour les nouveau beatmakers c'est bien

This is exellent and works two thunbs up.

One of the best VST's i've downloaded. I use 3-5 of the sounds, but they are all very good.

No power.
