A sidechain gate without an actual sidechain? It becomes quite useless for any type of music that doesn't have a four-on-the-floor beat. Could still be used for a trance gate effect, but for sidechaining the kick to a bass it's not really useful. He should probably remove the "Side" from the name and not promote it as a "sidechain gate", as it's only a sequenced gate, not a sidechained gate. It's otherwise a perfectly functional and well designed plugin. If he adds sidechain functionality, and preferably a 5-10ms lookahead as well, it would be 5/5 plugin!
