MOLOSS is a multi oscillator iinear synthesizer designed to build analog vintage sounds by combining several techniques used in the 80's.

Its 4 voices mix Subtractive synthesis, additive synthesis, frequency (or actually phase) modulation, cross modulation, to allow a very wide sound range, with a lightweight CPU load.

It has a default polyphony of 64 notes, and 2 mono "solo" modes.

A lot of parameters can be modulated with controllers, to give the best live expressivity.

It has a full embedded file-based preset management.

The screenshot is actually for MOLOSS II. Neither this nor MOLOSS I is very useable on Linux with Wine. Must use only the 64-bit edition. The GUI takes a long time to instantiate on OpenMPT. Then the MOLOSS II (this one) has a GUI thread or something else which doesn't react visually to mouse click-and-drag on controls. The parameter is changed but the user cannot see it because the control remains static. It took a long time but I saved the MOLOSS I patches to MOLOSS II format, then took the rest of the "new" presets and involved them in a simple "random preset" scheme. Just swap text-file lines in and out from three files chosen randomly at a time LOL. This synth sounds great but I think the major hinderance is the GUI.

Really nice freshman release. There are plenty of presets to explore, especially in the bank 1 folder. The plugin doesn't recall the presets location when initially opened, you have to navigate to that location (load preset) and select a preset, then the entire preset bank will be available to use in the explorer. That issue might be able to be set within the settings on the standalone app. I didn't try yet. Not a big deal. Nice Job.
