SIM-DUNGCHEN is a synthesiser configured to simulate this traditional Tibetan horn instrument.
The sound and the way the monks play it may be somewhat unexpected! There are no samples used and the synth desig to try to get as close to the real thing.
Zip contains plugins with an audio input for vocalisations and plugins without the audio input (No Voice NV plugins are exported as instruments and the others as Effects with MIDI input). Plugins are 32 bit, 64 bit and 32 bit for XP users.

Reminds me of a 1980's Casio VL-1 but hardly of a real Dungchen.

Awesome!
It is a Sawtooth-Generator with many knobs, not more :)
That built in reverb gives it nice realism. Try that mix button. The standalone Sim Alps fx unit is definitely in my reverb effects folder now.
