Fire is a multiband distortion / downsampler plugin.
- Drive: has several distortion functions. There are two buttons "L" and "S" related to drive knob, and each means "Link" and "Safe". "Link" means when your turn up drive knob, the output knob value will automatically reduce. "Safe" means if your drive knob pushes your volume too loud, it will automatically reduce your drive value. It also shows reduced value on drive knob.
- Compressor: you can change threshold and ratio for each band.
- Width: change audio width.
- Filter: you can set lowcut, highcut, and peak. Lowcut and highcut each has four slopes (12, 24, 36, 48) you can choose.
- Downsample: downsample your audio.
- HQ: 4x oversampling for high quality audio.
- A/B: switch between A/B to compare.
Warning: This is early beta version. Don't use it for production!

Works great for me. No issues at all

Needs some bug-fixing. A bit unstable, HQ alters the sound drastically. I hope the developer keeps updating it, since it's a plugin with great potential.
My Cubase 12 pro will not recognize this plug-in as from a valid developer and I see no way around it... it is blocked from opening.
Does this plugin just not work for garageband? I keep downloading the Mac version and everything but I dont see it in my Audio Units in GarageBand and I want this plugin so bad
same, it keeps crashing the validation. whats going on with this?
Copy the component and go to macintosh hd, then library>audio>plugins>components and copy it to the components folder. restart Garageband and it should scan and verify. If you see a "cant verify" of some kind pop up, go ahead and press cancel then go to your mac settings and click on security and privacy open the lock on the bottom left and click on app store and identified developers and finally "allow anyway". Just adding that last part if you havent had to use third party plugins yet

This plugin is so incredibly good (and easy to use). I also love "HY-MB-Drive" and "Saschart Twin-Crusher" but this tool is really on par with "F*bf*lt*r S*t*rn". Many thanks to the developers!
...I simply agree ;D
Did you really feel the need to censor "Fabfilter Saturn"? Are you alright?

Versatile plugin. EQ, multiband compressor, vocal enhancer, hardstile distortion, usable guitar Octafuzz (rectified), stereo spreading distortion, chiptune downsampler, bass guitar distortion, steep LP+HP. OxfordInflator like distortion(bounc-back sinusoidal distortion)is the most interesting. hmm probably unusable for mastering but who knows?

Very nice and versatile.. with plugins like this, you can round-out your production sweet as these dev's are bringing us quality plugies for literally nothing. You'all should be damn thankful; as these plugies might be simpler than something from-say, Native Intruments.. PLUGS LIKE THIS are a testement to how far indie devs have come, and how far and advanced the coding has come since around 2010.

I can dig it brother. I can dig it big time.

This would be superb even if the developer charged 100 bucks for the plugin. I hope he won't. This is on the same level with Cableguys Shaperbox and Fabfilter Saturn.
+1 totally agree. It's 2022 now, and freeware devs have stepped their game up with some memorable vst's and software. To me, this is looking and performing like something from Fab-Filter Devs. We should really be thankful for these guys...

It's actually really good! Works good, sounds good. Been looking for a saturation/distortion/compression plugin that would work with multiband (mostly for bass and some other leads). Single saturation plugins required extra multichannel routing, lots of EQ'ing and complex gain compensation adjustments, OTT was too harsh, straightforward and clumsy, other multiband effects sounded just too bad, but this free all-in-one plugin does the job. Was a bit confused by "L" & "S" buttons, as I can't see them well. Didn't find factory presets - that would really be nice, as there are A LOT of settings available. Other than that, plugin works really well and I was excited to find it's FREE. <3 I'll be using it for both mixing and major sound design.

You can definitely do a lot with this device, break new ground if you can't think of anything else. Here in the demo video, however, I lack the substance for the good, which would knock my socks off.
