Black Distortion is modeled on RAT2 distortion pedal.

The beauty of the Black Distortion plugin lies in its versatility. Used as a primary distortion, it excels at arena rock rhythm tones and soaring leads. Do you have an amplifier plugin with too much headroom? Let the Black Distortion plugin be your dirty channel. Maybe you already love your amplifier plugin distortion. Use the Black Distortion plugin as a boost for solos and get the extra kick you need.

Black Distortion plugin features the legendary filter control. Turn it to the right to roll off brittle high-end frequencies. Having trouble cutting through the mix? Turn it to the left and allow the natural brightness of your instrument to shine through.

Black Distortion  dials in the perfect amount of gain, from mild overdrive to full out fuzzy assault, and the volume control lets you dial it in just perfectly against your bypassed clean tone.

Thanks for destroying my Cubase with this awful plugin. After installation this plugin, as well as ALL MY OTHER plugins do not work anymore.

Crazy, that's more than a bug! Nembrini-Audio is a big and established brand. Please report this issues to Nembrini directly via their website. This could be very important.

This is a different but great version of the RAT, stereo right out of the box. A very reactive VST emulation of hardware saturation in the lower mids it gives it dynamic feel, a little like transformer saturation in tube amps. It is a low on the output for some reason. Other than that great.

By far the most naturally sounding RAT simulation, which I've heard up to now. Works great in front of vintage amps, but also works great to beef up modern amps, in my opinion with sonically better results than you can get with a Tube Screamer (simulation). Great that such a plugin is offered for free!

I like TSE R47 better.

While I do agree it sounds *GREAT* I have two small problems with this plugin: 1) it cuts volume when active and 2) why does a distortion pedal plugin weigh *32MB*?
