FB-7999 simulates the KORG DW-6000 and DW-8000 synthesizers from the 1980s.

This one is amazing. A lot of these synths seem geared towards very idiosyncratic, historical tones. This one feels a lot more neutral and practical. I can see myself using a lot of these patches in different settings. This one has a really mellow vibe that I love. It has the feel of FM without necessarily sounding all that much like FM. It's also a lot less complex sounding than the average wavetable synth. I really like this.

Not my favourite synth by far, but another nice release by FullBucket. Good user interface (better than the original). I don't have an original to compare, but the sound seems right. Presets are relevant for this type of synth (I like the Koto, and the Bells). VST works fine and has low CPU impact. Respond to MIDI learn.

I would pick this synth over many; its digitally clean and analog warm sounds from the '80s are exactly what every electronic musician should have.

This one is a LOLfest. It sounds just as cheezy and goofy as the original. LOVE IT. If you want that slushy 80s sound, the DW8000 is perfect. Thanks to FB for making this trip down memory lane.
I've dowloaded AU version for my macbook pro but "Hosting AU" don't find it. In Cubase it is a VST instruments !!! I need AU version.

Congratulations to Full Bucket Music. FB7999 Sounds great and also the interface. Original is very nice. FB7999 is in the top 10 free vst synth rankings. The next challenge will be an emulation of KORG DS-8 ? A distant future KORG OASYS ?

Fantastico !!! Non ho mai posseduto un DW8000 e ora posso averlo nel computer. All'inizio i preset mi sembravano un pò scuri ma poi ho attivato la funzione stereo TWEAKS e aumentato leggermente la Cutoff. Poi ho cominciato a giocare con le Waveform e ho trovato un sacco di suoni anni 80: BRASS PAD LEAD POLY E.PIANO e tanti altri. Questo vst è già tra i miei preferiti. Si può giocare per anni. Cercate su Youtube il DW8000 e guardate che suoni buoni può fare. C'è anche il manuale in PDF. Grazie FULL BUCKET. Super Geniali.

You realize that the plugin is free? Why are you complaining. By the way, the plugin sounds good. Maybe you should change the speakers.
Динамики у меня в компе нормальные, а вот у кого то уши не в порядке: - Прислушайтесь к звукам очень внимательно, они как будто пластмассовые, даже использование ревера не помогает...
Apparently you are the only one having this problem. Other reviews are very good.
I sold my dw8000 and regretted it coz I used it in a lot of music, I will have to reprogram all those sounds, nothing else sounds like it.
