Pretty good reverb especially for vocals, for snare drum (especially the bright sounding and a few drum machine) i wouldn't want to use this because it has a sort of metallic or ringing sound in the high mid and high frequency that can be really obvious at longer reverb time (tried to somewhat eq it but it still has that ringing or metallic sound). But, the sound of the reverb diffusion is pretty unique (well to my ears) as it has a sort of low or somewhere in the middle diffusion setting which doesn't give that sort of washed out reverb sound, i wouldn't mind it being in mono because some of the older recording i used to listen would probably had use a plate reverb in mono which kinda gives this plugin a vintage vibe.

Sounds ok. The drive is a nice touch. Pretty easy to use. Not sure why the knobs go down to -192 db. I find this means that 90% of the sweep of the controls is totally redundant and everything you would want from the control is cramped in one small region. CPU usage seems quite modest for a reverb.

An easy-to-use reverb plugin which makes it ideal for beginners and to get to the sound you need without adjusting or going through a ton of parameters to fiddle around. I think the feature that this plugin has is the reverb time being limited to 4 or 6s max (can't remember). Nevertheless, it's a pretty good sounding reverb even though it's a algorithmic room reverb.

Perfect for drums <3

Definitely a favorite small space reverb, many reverbs are fine but obvious, where this can be subtle and not attract attention. Good stuff.

I really like this plugin for my mid-kit mic and behind a vocal. Excellent, pleasing sounds!

Well, so this plugin with the effect of "Plate", or "Room", is not clear to me, or all at once? You write correctly, otherwise you are misleading.
I think it's saying that it's a room reverb but with some features found in plate reverb plugins/modules.

Interesting sound! Upon my testing, this plugin seems to be input dependent, so if you input a mono signal into it, the reverb will be in mono, and if you input a stereo signal into it, the reverb will be in stereo. My other approach for this problem is to stick a stereo delay before the plugin or just pan the reverb or create a 2 aux/fx send (pan both hard left and right) and place this plugin on those, with the other one set with a different dials (like on the left the pre-delay is 30ms and on the right is 60ms) (correct me if i'm wrong)

Excellent! A Spring reverb in this quality would be nice!

This reverb is not stereo. It is mono slightly panned. It doesn't sound that good TBH..
Sure, if your signal is mono the stereo spread knob will make it "fake stereo". If you use it on a stereo signal however, it will be stereo.

Sounds fantastic! It would also be neat to see if Analog Obsession would come up with chamber reverb (like the abbey road chambers, uad capitol studio chambers) or some vintage digital reverb (like a Alesis Verbs, Quantec QRS or maybe even a AMS RMX16) freeware plugins
I wonder if AO could do some pitch shifter, modulation, verb/delay, and other plugins in the future like the DigiTech Whammy, EH microsynth, or if possible the Eventide H3000 freeware plugin perhaps? I'll just have to wait in the future!
It would be interesting to see a Eventide H3000 freeware plugin from AO in the future! (Oh and it would probably be cool to see some tc electronic, alesis or even a yamaha reverb plugin from AO in the future!)

The best freeware room reverb simulator ever made, not 5 stars, 10 stars
