Rodent is an emulation of the classic ProCo Rat distortion pedal.
It includes several of the most common aftermarket mods that can be enabled or disabled.

In principle all the additional options are a good idea, but unfortunately the plugin sounds much too thin to me and cannot compete sonically with the real pedal. Nor with some already existing, more authentically sounding RAT plugins.

Dosen't seem to work with Ableton.. I've put it in my VSTplugin folder, rescanned and nothing pops up!
If it's a vst3, you'll have to move it to your vst3 folder - Live won't recognise them outside of it.
It's not, and I've tried it but doesn't work!
So far I haven't had any luck with installing... Any tips?
You need to copy the Rodent.V2.VST.dll AND the rodent.v2 subfolder into your Plugin folder! works in reaper
To Emanuel: it didn´t work on mine, I did copy subfolder too, it shows on the scan but will not appear on FX

If this plugin could operate in two channel stereo, this is the best Rat vst.
Only works in mono on a stereo signal.

This pedal is great. there is a great transparency from the low distortion to mid and high gain. it sounds great at about 10-11 o'clock, before the midway point. a nice clarity for that kind of semi distorted sound. very, very good pedal
