TUBA is a tube mic / line amp with 2 band EQ.
Not a model of famous console. DIY version of original hardware with mods.

- LEVEL : Input drive. Fully compensated to avoid gain changes.
- GAIN : Input drive gain range.
- MIC/LINE : Selectable mic preamp or line amp for different characters and colors.
- LF : Low frequency with broad shelf around 100 Hz.
- HF : High frequency with broad shelf around 8 kHz.
- 0/180 : Phase switch.
- PAD : 20 dB pad without affecting gain level. It will increase headroom.
- OUTPUT : Clean output.

AO does it again! Great plugin. Very similar to the 610-B Preamp from UAD. The 610 is a beast! I can use it on ANY instrument. Definitely recommend this for great saturation characters, tones, color, ehancements and EQ

Subtle but not too subtle. CPU usage is high but I might give it another chance. EQ controls are useful and the limited options will relieve your "option paralysis".

Gives some extra warmth to dynamic mic recordings of acoustic instruments. Not too agressive.
