HaNon B70 emulates the famous Hammond B3 drawbar organ coupled with a Leslie 122 rotating speaker.

It's based on the physical emulation of the 91 tonewheels, which rotate permanently at low CPU cost. This allows to have natural keyClicks and low cost simple synthesis.

The Leslie emulates a tube preamp, a tube power amp and 2 rotors with first reflections in the leslie case.
  • 91 tonewheels permanently active.
  • Simulation of the tube amplification stage and drive to "crunch" the organ.
  • Natural Key Clicks (but adjustable).
  • Adjustable percussions level, decay and harmonic.
  • Adjustable reverb.
  • Chorus and Vibrato.
  • L122 frequency response.
  • Leslie slow / fast on message from MIDI controller 1.
  • 2 channels and two sets of drawbars and a split with MIDI learn for playing with a single keyboard.
  • 44100, 48000, 88200, 96000, 176400 and 192000 Hz compatible.

Is it possible to attach multiple keyboards to simulate a full b3 organ?

CollaB3 was my go-to hammond, but has no saturation (it has to be put before Leslie, so adding a saturation plugin doesn't work as intended). Also this one has got TWO manuals and is less CPU hungry.

Need size buffer checked in FL to avoid crackling sound, fanspeed goes up since it's eating up all my cpu. Sad actually, it has a nice sound.

I use it very often and I enjoy playing with it. The programmable preset buttons at the bottom of the ui are also quit usefull. And damn, this organ can be loud! I love changing the leslie slow-, fast- and accelaration-speed. There are certainly better payed hammond vsts, but considering it's free, the plugin is more than one could expect.

The Hanon B70 only supports the entire keyboard, it even has a split of its own - that is, a split keyboard. It is possible to use the whole keyboard more than 5 octaves, ie 76 or 88 keys. Other simulators, such as CollaB3, RADKON use only 61 keys, full 5 octaves.

God bless you hammonder for this information. It came in handy, Hanon B70 couldn't load anymore on my daw(cakewalk). And I couldn't find any organ vst close to it until I saw this collaB3. It's really cool.

Nothing as satisfying as a well played organ

Just plug the sustain and voice pedal into the MID keyboard. I use it in CME UF70 and in M-AUDIO keystation for 88, in both it works nicely.

Does the Hanon b70 work with the sustain pedal?

I wish there was an option to use the sustain pedal as sustain. (I know that is not "authentic").

Idk. It sounds great, but it's just so quiet. I have the track volume maxed and it's still barely audible :/

There's a volume slider, didn't notice it at first too ;)

Sounds good to me. Warm, not tacky. CPU is pretty high though, like an absolute minimum of 15% on my rig.

The sound is weak at the output: you need to additionally raise it using compression. In General-a children's Playhouse for the house.

Sounds good in Jeskola Buzz. Thank you. Love organs. Clicks could be a bit more Hammond-like. Use fix block size in polac adapter to fix noise.

Following CollaB3 is great! It's a little different from CollaB3, but it's good enough. Until now, I don't think there is a Free Organ plug-in that has been so involved. I think it's very good to have both 32-bit 64-bit VST2 and VST3. Recently, 64-bit organs are limited, so I am very grateful. The only regrettable thing is that there is no LINUX version. It's a pity because I plan to change to LINUX in the future. ..

http://radkon.eu/projects/hammond/index.php?lang=en - I pay attention to Hammond Simulator Radkon from a Slovak software engineer. It can also be installed for Linux, it supports a split-split keyboard with two keys and a foot bass pedal. It is also possible to try it with a virtual keyboard. I release the virtual keyboard 3 times, I set 1,2,3 to keys 1-2, pedal 3.

A great instrument, good sound, low CPU usage, no presets. This makes it nice to simulate a "real" organ! Playing with its functions. Inserted in my "Vintage" VSTi folder. Thank you manufacturer, thank you V4F staff.
