The Great Escape (preview version) is a dynamic tremolo plug-in, made in collaboration with Thrilltone and modeling their original hardware all analog pedal.

Instead of being just a standard but still very good sounding tremolo, the two of them feature an envelope detector which changes the speed and the depth of the effect with your playing.

Indeed, tremolo is a great effect, but we must admit that in most cases, it has this mechanical and repetitive behavior, which leads us to use it in a very occasional manner, with pretty smooth intensity... Now, thanks to the envelope detector, tremolo can be a very expressive audio effect !

Fully featured with tons of controls, The Great Escape is simply the most versatile dynamic tremolo plug-in you’ve ever dreamed of !
  • Highly versatile dynamic tremolo.
  • 3 waveforms available : triangle, sinus and square.
  • Speed up or slow down effect speed, with a simple pick’s hit.
  • Reinforce or reduce effect’s intensity, with your playing dynamics.
  • Finely set transition time with the dedicated "Release" knob.
  • Optimized for all instruments, not just for electric guitars, thanks to "Threshold" control knob.
  • Extra educational features to help users understand what is happening in the plug-in.

Ok this is no soundToys Tremolator. That being said very, very few are. I gave this a try and found it to work just fine, sounds good, looks pretty good too. Played with for a while in Reaper and got good to crazy good sounds. Most anything can be pushed to far and sound crappy. I was using Hybrid 3 from AiR followed by this tremolo, nothing else running. 2nd gen i7 at 3500Mhz. I was twisting knobs and such while playing the synth. Never did Reaper CPU display ever go far above above 1%. Most of the time it was around 0.6. I didn't read the docs if any. I did however hit their web site. Everything about why this was released is on their site. Nothing is hidden and I'm pretty sure this copy doesn't timeout... To the human behind the code, you are definitely on the right track. This is good work. Our vst/audio community is richer because you put this out there. Thanks!

A waste of time with a poorly implemented limited function trial SW and THEN they rub salt in the wound and say they are so gracious giving the "trial" version because of Coronavirus. I deleted your plug-in as soon as I saw the limitations, and general poor performance, this is seriously the worst I have seen on this page.
