Cubase hates everything free. They want you to think that for everything good you have to pay. Use reaper if you like freedom in multiple forms.

I love the sound you can get from this thing, but the DB jumps from switching between certain presets will not spare your ears or speakers. Be careful with this beast

Constant volume jumps between modes make this a bit of a pain to use. Would also appreciate a mix knob (yes, sometimes they're built into DAWs, but would like capacity in the VST)

...especially the "soft-mode" is worth checking out. It sounds really vintage tube-like on several sources including vocals!
