Esfera 2 is a designed for the creation of dark atmosphere, soundscapes, effects and pads.
Each mini-synth features :
It has 3 basic FM mini-synths. Each mini-synth has 2 steppers with 16 steps each... there is the Normal Stepper (which has 4 targeting options) and the Pitch Stepper that will only affect the pitch of the desired mini-synth!
Each mini-synth features :
- 4 envelopes (amp/mod/filter/pitch).
- 2 filters.
- LFO.
- Stereo delay.
- Chorus.
- Reverb.
ATTENTION: you might need to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015/2017 Redistributable".

LOL @ static library or probably the poster below me wanted a version for Linux. Must ask Synthedit's author about that. Anyway, this and Esfera v1 were from the handful of synths I could actually use on my computer. This was either on Windows or on a Linux distro "progressive enough" such as Manjaro with Wine. Most other trash built with 64-bit Synthedit v1.4 was downloaded then deleted in a matter of minutes, because it didn't work or because it was just too ornery to do anything with it. Thank you to the developer also for giving precise instructions about acquiring M$ runtime libraries and about how to install so the VST2 version could see the presets.
Does Esfera 2 replace Esfera 1 or can they be installed side by side? Can E2 read presets created with E1? Thanks!
Esfera 2 is Esfera 2...Esfera is Esfera...you can have them side by side... but they do not exchange presets!
Guys.. please read the documentation about install and Presets....... you might need to install Visual C++ Redistributable 2015/2017... regarding presets... 32-bits.. you need to load the soundbanks with the bank menu of the VSTi... 64-bits... you need to copy the VST3 Presets folders inside the soundbank 64-bits folder into you documents folder...the presets will appear in the preset browser pick button :)....Enjoy!
Developers... Isn't it possible to build the plugin as a static libary? Then the user would be independent of visual studio.
Are you saying only the .dll?... well.. not how I produce my VSTs.. I use SynthEdit.. which does not has that option... Sorry!!
I liked the first one, and I certainly like this one- I only wish you'd corrected the spelling of "atmosphere" between them ;) I know, English is not your first language :)

Cant switch between presets. Have to open manually each time. Sound quality is acceptable. When i stop the sound it sometimes still plays it for some reason. Overall this synth really needs improvements but has a potential. I like the idea about the skins as well.
You have to copy the VST3 Presets folder into your documents folder so that all presets appear in the preset browser menu :)
The sound keeps playing cause some presets work with a very high RELEASE! no?! It's ambient...pads..etc...thats normal..no?!!?!
I did that. The arrows which indicates from left to right simply wont work... I always have to load a new preset from the load bank option to switch between them...

Crashed my computer completely.
I was excited but got this response trying to load it in my prog where this doesn't normally happen with vsti's. "The program can't start because mfc140u.dll is missing from your computer".
This is because you need Microsoft Visual C++ 2015/2017 Redistributable. Download the files from https://www.beatassist.eu/esfera2.htm , it is include in the package.
