EQ560 is based on the 1967 classic API 560 10-Band graphic equalizer.
The 10-Band graphic equalizer features precision filtering and high headroom, ideal for signal enhancement. The curve shaping potential is unmatched, while unique "Proportional Q" design intuitively widens the filter bandwidth at lower boost/cut levels and narrows it at higher settings.

- 10 bands of proprietary equalization.
- Familiar graphics operation on one octave centers.
- 12 dB of boost/cut per band.
- Proportional Q narrows filter Q at extremes.
- IN/OUT switch - Allows the user to bypass the Graphic Eq for before/after comparisons.

Wie der Grosse EQ Super Teil !!!!

Interesting. The CPU load seems really low on moderate-to-low specs here, in fact I switched over to this from Solid EQ which did put a strain on. I haven't tested with loading infinite instances but in an already stuffed project, I've added an instance of this on roughly half of the instrument tracks and the project is no more cumbersome than before. I also noticed the GUI looks nice when it is static but when you move it it is like cardboard, so graphically it isn't demanding anything at all. Gain control would be pretty useless because the EQ faders already make a huge difference in volume.

I'm a latecomer to this one. Impressed so far. Similar to 7Q but seems a bit more accurate and smoother sounding. Much more useful than Luftikus which adds a lot of character but is too inaccurate. CPU usage seems pretty average for this sort of EQ, maybe equivalent to or slightly higher than 7Q. Lack of a gain control is pretty lame though. Not sure why anyone would fail to add that...
Como lo instalo o que debo de hacer?

I use this for everything and I mean everything. It has never once failed. At 10 bands you sometimes hope it might be a bit more detailed but at the end of the day that number of bands is pretty perfect compromise between really detailed and broad strokes E. The GUI feels a bit static too but seriously, it works perfectly so I'd rather the dev did not change one thing. Nevermind, I'm glad to see they updated it with the ability to double-click to reset to default value, that's a big conveniency plus. Thanks for this gem and for updating it Red Rock! Now don't do anymore, treat it with silk gloves just so it doesn't break! xD

This is incredible, put this on plugin doctor you will see a very broad light movement at low settings and when the plugin shows +9db/-9db, that's when starts do narrow very fast, the cool thing is that this behaviour is the same for every band, so know that if you need a little more push, try to get to the 9db territory while being very careful from there because it sharpens fast
awesome, awesome, awesome eq. This and Bee Happy 550 v2 by madBee and you are done, really.

This is a very nice eq, thank you. Looking at Red Rocks site it would be great if they ported some of their stuff to vst.

Very good and simple, the Q is very good setting and with natural response like vintage eq plugins. Maybe a better results on the very high freqs could do a professional plugin, event with thar is one of the best. Is very usefull for find a general eq and then use a better complex/presition eq, like with 32 band and a specific Q per band

32 bit version won't load either to Reaper or plugin analyzer.
Both VSTs work fine with REAPER v5.x and the VST Plugin Analyser.
This equalizer does a GREAT job of adding warm analog sound and rich saturation to any instrument you use. I generally use it on acoustic instruments but really is good for anything.
A version for Linux? please :(

I'm surprised, it really has that analog feel and sound to it. Great job and big thanks!

Excellent emulation of a vintage equaliser.

Очень хороший плагин,использую для обработки акустической гитары.
VST HOST can not read. Both 32 bits and 64 bits can not be read. I attempted to load it with PODIUM free, but it was useless.
Try to install Cakewalk By Banlab, it works perfectly, it's free and up to date. Podium Free has not been updated since 2014... It's outdated...
