Just what I needed for sketching songs in midi, thank you!

Not bad
It says I cannot use the vst due to the creator not being verified, should I be worried or should I override it and still use it?
Hi Thomas... if you like the plugin, go and use it! I have tested many plugins from bigcat Instruments and also this one. I also did a virus scan for you despite I knew there is no virus or simular. Windows is sometimes very sensitive and overly cautious. Depending on how you have set up user management for new programs and apps wich you want to install with "exe". In that case you dont have to worrie... go for it.

This is the best free vocal plugin

Works very well with my tracktion DAW and I love to combine it with other free choir sounds for a good effect. Thank you for offering it!
how do I get it to work on FL studio. Im on MAC and downloaded both the AU and VST3
I have this problem too
Have you checked if u linked your common files folder for the vst3s? The vst3 folder is different than the vst2 folder.

Lots of vowels to choose from, and sounds are totally usable. Especially if you use another reverb than the one built in. However, the samples don't loop, which is annoying. And keyswitches would be very nice to have.

One of the best VST ever made.
Does this work with Studio one? I can't figure out how. It's in my computer downloads, but how do I apply it? Yes, I'm this dumb and it's a real question. Thanks.
I use ableton 11 and whenever i try to open it says ,,cannot find any instruments,, even tho i extracted ALL filest into my vst folder (and im on windows 10)
I have the Nst bigcat instrument vst but I couldn't get the vocal choir on it what should I do to get it?
I have downloaded the Vst, to only be shown a message that says "cannot find any instruments". The vst shows on my plugins folder but when I open it it says that. I use ableton live, and my computer is a windows 10. Why isnt it working?
Extract all the zip content in your vst folder, not just the dll file
Thank you for this choir library. Having them broke out into Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Bass helps tremendosly in creating a mix. It's nice to pan the vocals in a way that a choir would sound. Some choirs voices are spread throughout, but other choir leaders have Basses hard left, Tenors mid left, Altos mid right and Sopranos hard right. Have different strengths of loudness is another nice natural choir response. This is awesome.
Hi - thanks for this cool VST! I'm not able to change the vowel sound though. How can I do that?
I was able to figure out how to do this, by going to the Groups. However, it'll start changing the vowels midway through one of my pieces. When it goes back to the beginning of the loop, it's not what I originally had it set as (It goes to "ah" but I want it to stay on "ooh" the whole time.)

Had to filter out the crackling. The built in reverb is alright. The voice clips are to short.

Works great in REAPER, and sounds killer! Thanks!!!
Hey how were you able to configure it in Reaper? I have the win 64 bit version and there are the .DLL files and the .instrument folder containing the .MSE files, how do you use it in Reaper? Thanks in advance

Doesn't show up in cubase.
Can this free vst be used for commercial production? Are there any restrictions or other legal matters to consider? Where can I find some information concerning this issue?
If VST's are offered free then they are taken to be free to make your own royalty free songs, tunes and beats with and with no attribution to the creator unless clearly stated otherwise, but there would be restrictions if you just copied the sound as samples and tried to sell them as your own creation and I doubt the creator would allow you to decompile or reverse engineer the VST unless stated it was open source. This is my view and not legal advice.
How would any Listener know which VST you have used in your Productions? He'd have to be a damn Genius.

Pretty good sound, would like to have some higher notes and specially longer samples. It cuts off so quickly for me
Sorry but the installation don't run and Cubase don't see the instruments, can you help me? Thank you very much.
OK, I read a lot of comments and I have understood where install: now all run perfectly and I am very happy for the very nice voices! well done big cat and thank you very much!!!
Hi Frederico. Can you tell me where to find the helpful comments regarding finding these files in Cubase please. Thanks.
I also want to know!
I cannot see any helpful comments that clearly advice exactly how to install! When you write that you´ve found a lot of help. Please paste in links to these.

I actually really like this vst. To me it sounds great.

They are not great.. I have better, but the one I have is female choir. I can use this as a second channel to get male voices, but its not as great as the one I have on triple play built in patch. Still its playable and sounds good with chords.

YOU are the best ... Thank you

In my opinion. Good: big library with "a","o","u","i","m" (30 voices) + library divided into: all, high, mid, mid2, low voices + good for background/textural use + good for chords + good to start composing choral music. Bad: - not enough high frequencies, to much low frequencies - need some work before use (eq, compresion, chorus e.t.c) - each instrument voice may need different work - few single sounds have some kind phasing (audible after eq) - hard to use in solo line - little to short: more then 3 sec each voice. Summary: as a free plugin it is very good. Thank you very much :)

Beautiful sound. Its the best free vocal VST I've found thus far.

The quality is a little iffy, but otherwise makes for good background harmonics.

I know very little about VST (just started exploring them), but I do a bit with audio, and I wanted to pass on to you a program you might like - "PaulStretch" (http://hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/). It does some pretty amazing stuff with stretching audio, and it might help you with lengthening short samples (for instrument creation). Thanks for your hard work assembling these instruments (I discovered you via the VSCO2 Orchestra - exciting stuff!). God bless you and those you love!
Thanks WhiteLight. That looks like an interesting program. God bless you and yours.
BigCat - I ALWAYS get excited when I see a new BigCat VSt being posted. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into creating these, and for sharing them. I will never have Kontact, so I am always grateful for these VSTs you create. You have allowed me to have access to instruments I could never have dreamed of being able to use, especially the orchestral instruments. Regarding this VST, this is another wonderful VST, great sounds. I would have liked more sustain, but as you mentioned, this was the length of the samples and also that choir samples are rare. I love the fact that there are different "sounds" in this VST - not all just one sound, like "aaah" or "oh" - with this VST, I can switch things up and use various vocal sounds. So thank you again for creating and sharing this :)
Hey thanks for the kind words. While not the highest quality samples technically these choirs are pretty fun and as you say have some nice variety. Hopefully you can find some use for them and get around the shorter length. Cheers.
You are very welcome, BigCat, and you deserve nothing but kind words and thanks :) One thing people can do, if they find these samples too short, is to use your other choir VST which, if I remember correctly, does have longer samples but only the one "sound" and is EXCELLENT: http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?id=2310

Tony Banks never had problems to arrange *around* the fact, that the mellotron has nearly same restriction. ;)
Ok, but mostly I use these kind of sounds (choirs, voices etc.) for long sustain background sounds. 4,2 sec. is patently too short for me. For someone else it maybe ok.
Try writing your chords, turning the sound to audio, then looping it :)

Well worth instrument, but one little drawback - samples are too short. Only 4-5 sec. It seems it no adjustable.
Yes they are sourced from Google's Nsynth samples and they cut every single sample at 4.2 seconds. Sadly lots of nice orchestral sustains cut short as well. Choirs are rare enough I thought it was worthwhile. Maybe I should only do the orchestral shorts, pianos and such in the future using these samples as they suffer less from the 4.2 second cutoff. We'll see what the response is.
