I use this plugin when a dynamic mic is a bit too bright. It really gives a nice warmth, low end boost and thick darkness. Classy plugin - I dig it!

Amazing sound! try it on a crappy rhodes plugin. I found a weird thing tho.. after a delay it plays back the audio. just quietly but you can definitely hear if a compressor is after it
Noticed this too, does a weird bandpass sweep of the last bit of audio. Quite like it though haha

Useble Type 57 or 58? i don´t think so. Usable for much more Mics and it sounds great.
Justamente llegue aquí buscando algún fundamento parea decir que solo funciona con 57 o 58, yo tengo un sm47 y funciona bien el plug in como dicen, levanta la voz, suena más calido, menos brillante, tipo estudio. Suena Bastante bien.

Idk what the technique is, but something noteworthy - if you look at a visual eq : when you turn this plugin on, after the source sound has stopped, there will be a secondary sound immediately after that is constrained to a small bandwidth, and scans the frequency spectrum in that bandwidth. very weird. Sounds awesome. I'm getting some absolutely gnarly bass tones from this.

Exactly what I needed - Using it in Ableton (with Acon Reverb + Envelope Down filter + Blue Cat Amp). I'm starting to get that warmer, fatter tone I was looking for. I'm no expert but works perfectly for me, strongly recommend.

I'm using this with a Rode M2 handheld condenser mic, which has a very flat frequency response. Even though the description says that this plug only sounds good with a Shure SM57 or SM58, I'm getting really good results. I'm pretty sure this would work well with the Rode Nt1 also, as that also has a very flat frequency response. I don't think this will work with bride Rode mics such as the confusingly named NT1A!

Use this on the drum bus. Defines the drums in a more professional manner.
And: Use this on guitar-recordings with the common and proofed SM57. Also very nice to shape the sound in a professional manner ;)

Very good plugin! "Pleasant" - this word comes to my mind everytime I load it. I use it on very different sources (including complex instrumental sub-mixes! Yes, it "glues" things perfectly). Great job!
Yeah love this, it works! You do need a decent mic to get the best from it. Tried with a SM57 SM58 and NT2, works well. Thanks a lot
I love the This Emulation the first time I come acros this. I never go wrong with am using may Shure Sm 58. I read the manual I hear this was made for Dynamic mics. With U87 vintage mic this plugin give smooth vocals if your are looking for profesional smooth warm vocal this will lead you to be on your right way.

For me, it makes stereo tracks mono and panned center. That's why I would only use it on single mix tracks, not on vocal busses or panned background vox.
