This was a great 'starter mellotron" but the out of tune presets and no flute led me to switch permanently to Redtron's mellotron VSTs. All presets in tune, and in stereo and... amazing :)
The settings dials are "frozen" on my version, unable to move them. I can only choose presets, which give me settings that I should be able to choose by moving the dials. I use Adobe Audition 3 - is it Audition that is the problem, causing the dials to be inoperable? or does anyone else have the same problem in other DAWs? Aside from that, I can choose any preset which gives me pretty much any setting I need, and the sound is just amazing, especially the choir. Love this VST... just wish I could use the dials in real time :) Because my dials are frozen, I can only use presets. Presets 15 and (I think) 16 have a bug due to the long release setting, that causes the lower part of the keyboard to be a semitone out of tune. If you find this happening to you on the choir, change release to "medium" instead of "long" or use preset 14. You can test this by playing the two lowest "D" notes and the third highest "D" note.. the middle of those "D" notes will be out by a semitone on preset 15 and 16. Otherwise, great VST, love the choir sound :)
I now use Reaper and the buttons are NOt frozen in Reaper, I can turn any and all of the dials. The D3 note is still half a semitone flat, though. It didn't fix THAT problem LOL though that is only on a couple of presets so i just need to avoid those.
It appears that any setting where "long" is chosen, either manually or by preset, then the D3 is half a semitone flat. I prefer to use the Redtron versions of mellotron VSTs, the only advantage that MellowSound has is that it has some lower notes available compared to RedTron, but that is because RedTron is representing the actual range of the real mellotrons.

Tapeworm is much better.

I've been using it for a long time - I especially like the string setting.

The "choir" setting is a great!
