Addtractive is a dual wavetable / unison synthesizer.
  • 2 wavetable oscillators with 135 waveforms in each.
  • Waves can be added, multiplied or subtracted, phase-shifted, inverted and level adjusted.
  • Unison detunable main oscillator with 0…-2 octave + switchable sub osc with the same wave and -1/-2 octaves, output wavetable window.
  • Moog-like filter with envelope control to cutoff in positive or negative direction.
  • Created wave can be saved as .txt or .wav, the sample quantity can be 128...2048 (the txt stops at 1024), 44.1 or 48 kHz and 16, 24 or 32 bit.
  • In-built switchable chorus and delay, modwheel to filter cutoff, pitchwheel has +/- 5 semitone range, note hold switch to easy sound design.

Developer forgot to load custom xyz.wav. All other dual-wav mixes sound the same. But with some cutoff tweaks and solaris as shimmer reverb ( use aurora borealis patch ) you can do low cpu -magic

Nice little synth. Only thing it's missing is velocity sensitivity.

Surprisingly able synth. Lots of fun sounds just playing around. Like most wavetables, it sounds like a preset friendly FM, but that doesn't stop the fun. 3 stars for quality of sound. -2 stars because of not enough env/lfo/chorus options etc. modern synths are all about bringing to life the sound, not just the sound quality.

Thanks! :-) Last year a member in my Facebook group (GyL Synths) asked for a wavetable maker, which can save wav format with 2048 samples to his other synth. I reworked an old Synthmaker Forum project completely, used different oscillators, improved the wave-saving, made it hopefully more user friendly, finally added an absolutely minimal, but probably useful synth-strip to check the created waves. So the real scope was wavetable making for other synthesizers - I've made many more advanced ones, some of them can use the here created waves. Hope in this function will be a useful tool! ;-)
