This old Free version is very outdated. The current product VB-3 II, is cheap payware. Guido's code creates the sound of the Crumar physical Hammond organ emulators. If you like the sound, it's worth the money. Oh, I see $75.00 now. Well, it's a $2000.00+ organ that takes up no space. https://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=44

You'd get a lot more support if you developed for VST, and AU
...your comment could be true, but in my opinion this is not a reason to give this excellent sounding plugin just one star.

Glad I found this one... It just has good action, sound, good presets, nice pedal activation for the rotor cabinet...

Realistic and versatile. Rock, soft, full, perc tones, i love it

My go-to organ every time. An issue I can't figure out though, keys sticking, even on playback, notes that aren't even on the track. Forces me to re-arm & find/tap the key that is stuck. NOT a controller issue, as none of the other hundreds of my VSTs do this. Very strange.....anyone???
First trials - I have it 'somewhat working' in one application. 2 others which are more extensively VST-i orientated don't load it at all. I haven't got any 'screen' as per your illustrations. I have it in a sequencer window with channels and slide bars, but only 3 control numbers on each Manual seem to produce sound. Would welcome contact with others.......

Very good
I liked the sound, but I have two problems: In the vsthost I ran it don't have or cannot see the presets or patches I've seen in the videos. Only the controls, not all those presets such as "Deep Rock" etc etc. The second problem is when I run it, the lower manual draw bars and the pedals don't have any efect in the sound like if the don't work or something. Has anyone experienced these problems or been able to solve them?
Hey ,an, I'm sure you moved on, but this is a great plugin. I got my mod wheel working for leslie by chaging the CC # to 1, it was set at 64. My particular keyboard, a keystation 49e sets the mod wheel to cc1. I would start there. It worked for me. Love the plugin.
No, I still consider this plugin. I solved the first problem and now I can see the presets. But yet I cannot make the lower manual draw bars and the pedals have any effect in the sound...anyway I like the sound very much. Thank you for the answer
Real B3 consoles (as you may know) have two rows of keys (upper and lower manuals) and a set of pedals. If you only have one keyboard and no pedal controller, it makes sense that lower and pedal drawbars don't affect the sound, because those are not being played.

Awesome sound, great control. A must have VSTi for any serious organist.
Does it possible to hold notes with sustain pedal? I couldn't do it....
Not showing up in my DAW after inserting the .dll file in my VST folder. What could be the problem please? I use FL studio
Its 32 bit version, if You have 64bit it will not work. You can try to use jBridge to convert 32 to 64bit vst. I used fl studio 10 on 32 bit windows and it worked for Me. ;)
Help.... for total newbie! Finally got it loaded and running but dont find "options" tab to adjust latency problem(?). Also, organ sounds thru laptop speakers but not back thru roland kybd speakers, which is necessary to amplify. Can someone help? Thanks
No. Your pc (or its line out) reproduces the audio your vst/synth/wave application created within the pc. This is not transferred thru a midi-instruction connetion to your keyboard. Your keyboard only produces the sounds created by its keys or midi input (and synthesised within the keyboard). By the same token your keyboard only sends midi instructions to your pc, to interpret with 'new sounds' in your vst/synth application. It does not send audio which you will have turned off or disabled on your keyboard I expect, just to use it as a midi input device.

Cool, but very odd that it shares the same layout as the VB3?
Does it have midi learn option?

Love this thing. Im trying to get t to work with some external midi controller. I have trouble with latency and with getting the mod wheel to be recongnised by the rotary switch. Can any one help with a .pdf instruntions on how to use the remont set up and the midi parameter settings??
Hey, for your latency problems you'll want to click on "options", then click on "audio settings", then you'll see an option and a horizontal slide that says "buffering speed". You'll want to Play around with that and see what fits for you. Too low and it cracks, too high and it's way too late. Mine is set on 41. Hope that helps....

This Organ is the best one I've found via Free VSTs. The leslie simulator is very good. Key click and distortion....top notch. Damn you can activate the leslie with you sustain pedal.... whoda thunk it? Nothing touches this one. Can't believe it's only got 3 and 1/2 stars.
ottimo veramente

Thanx! great! It rocks! In my plugin folder aren't many vst-instruments, but this one is a must- have. I recommend it to everybody. BTW: if you aren't as poor as most musicians donations to GSI (the developer of this plugin) are welcome.

It sound like B3 or C3 tonewheel organ. Deep Purple, Yes, ELP. Very 60s and 70s sounds, I love it.

This the organ that real people use.
Very authentic Hammond emulator! But the keyclicksound is too weak!
This sounds just like the original B3, damn I like it !

Great Hammond Tonewheel emulator. As good as NI B4 - Not as good as my 1957 RT-3 though, cause being that the tube distortion is still not quite right. I must contact the author, as I can probably help with this....

Really good organ sound. Very realistic. Patches are programmed using the same controls as on a B3.

The best there is ! More like a C-3 to me. Why people go crazy and go crackin' NI's B4 ? This one sounds as the original. Thanks very much I waited long for a killer Hammond like this !

It`s great!!! Working with very low CPU usage. Sounds well.

Even beats b4 by far. One of the best emulations of real hardware anyway.

Great organ! THE BEST B3 free emulator. Its Leslie make a wonderful job.

This is a KILLER B3!!!! I had my brother over the other day to play it, He played a B3 for years and this blew his mind! I have since set him up with The ORGANized Trio & Tobybear MiniHost, and he's off to the RACES! You can activate the Leslie with your sustain pedale... Nice!!!
